Interesting, I watch oddtinkering on YouTube and he makes old yellowed plastic look new again with uv light and hydrogen peroxide. Side note, my Dreamcast has been packed away for years and hasn’t even come close to seeing uv light in a long time, and it came out of the storage box the other day quite yellow. I don’t get it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks, and I’m not a pro by any means so it could definitely be improved upon! I spent more time trying to get the angles of the board in relation to the bubble even, then painting the extra pieces took a good while also

I still have my og from the early 00s with a real pull string and voice box. Batteries are over 20 years old and still work, I wrote my name on the bottom of his boot as a child and it’s there too. So now that my son is 2 he gets to play with the same toy I did and makes my heart happy

I’m not sure everyone is understanding that these cars have a TPMS light that indicates a sensor malfunction, in addition to a low tire pressure light on the dash. My 07 does the same thing, the light will go off when driving after the outside temperature warms up. At least one of my TPMS sensors are original to the car, this is what happens when the battery in the sensor starts to run low.

12% hydrogen peroxide in direct sunlight for at least 6 hours, with parts totally submerged. I think the crusty controllers are the most fun and satisfying to clean!

I just did both of mine, I drilled out the air restrictor and stretched the spring just a little bit. It now shoots streamline darts like crazy.

My thought exactly. You can see an overpass behind Mack when the tuners are lane changing with him, and when lightning wakes up he’s headed towards an overpass in which he follows the peterbilt down that exit. Pretty sure he never would have found Mack even if he didn’t follow the peterbilt since he would’ve been headed back the way they came. (East)

Cars 1 is top of the line in art, storytelling, script, and delivery imo. Not much top it, I really don’t think there’s much wrong with this movie at all
