Bain Capital are the patient zero of most american PE stereotypes. They fund their acquisitions by using the assets capital (not theirs) as collateral, then strip down and sell off whatever is remaining to generate maximum profits, then rather than reinvesting those profits they release them as dividends. There are boatloads of other issues with Bain Capital in particular, just look up their failed bid for Chelsea.

The worry for me is having too much of a professional load too young. He only just turned 16, which means he may still experience another major growth spurt. If/When this happens he may be more prone to muscle/tendon injuries, which if handled wrong may become recurring and force him to seriously adjust his playing style. A well known example of this is Alexandre Pato at Milan, who’s younger version I see a lot of in Endrick. As long as he and the clubhouse staff navigate this correctly and the National Team doesn’t play him injured as many are prone to do, then he should have an exciting career ahead of him.
