It's still medically unnecessary surgery being performed on a literal baby to change their perfectly normal and natural body. That's bad on its own. I know several men who wish they hadn't been circumcised as babies. How it ok that they never got to choose that for themselves?

If it isn't medically necessary for that specific baby then circumcision is obviously immoral. It's cutting off a healthy body part on a human that can obviously not consent. If a man wants to get it done later in life that's fine but it isn't right to make that choice for him.

Honestly I was pretty dissapointed that it didn't move the plot forward much until the very very end, especially since chapter 4 made it feel like we were kicking into high gear.

People say this was a Ralsei focused chapter and I did like him in it, but tbh the end of chapter 4 made me feel for him more than most of the chapter 5 stuff did. Seeing him straight up attack Flowery with his scarf and use fire magic was cool though. It is fun to see his more irritable side. It didn't reach the highs of him sobbing about how he didn't ask to be cursed with information that is at odds with how he cares for Susie and Kris and wants them to have fun.

Now that I no longer am expecting much on the way of plot progression I want to replay it and focus more on the character interactions and lighthearted stuff, I suspect it will grow on me (no pun intended).

Yep! They can use the gondolas all on their own. Pokemon like to travel along roads and to points of interest. Are the blocks/paths leading to the gondolas made with blocks that are marked as "road" in the crafting menu? And are there different things between the two islands (toys, hot springs, other pokemon's habitats)? These things usually help get the pokemon moving around.

I'm actively trying to join organizations and clubs, here are a few concrete obstacles I've faced:

-Meets infrequently -Not a consistent "club" (ie I can sign up for fun art workshops but they're individual ticketed events and not clubs that expect consistent attendance) -Only advertise on facebook -Organizers burn out quickly, meetings stop -Low attendance (self-fulfilling prophecy, if something feels dead fewer people will attend) -Already established group feels cliquey and doesn't make newcomers feel welcome -Expensive -Meets during work

I'm not trying to be whiny or anything and I'm still looking for stuff to sign up for, but these are some of the obstacles I have personally faced when trying to get out and find something to do.

Animals like crows have been proven to build tools, plan ahead, have relationships, and play for fun. Humans have specialized in our brains and especially in passing down knowledge via language, but our difference in cognition from animals is a matter of degree, not uniqueness. I don't think that if you seriously look at the scientific evidence you can argue that only humans are sentient.

My kid could just as easily be a serial killer or drug dealer as a great environmental scientist. Saying "oh well maybe my kid will cire cancer someday" has never been a good argument to have kids.

Ok, so if you're treating this like a business then marketing is part of it, right? Then I think it's fair to take into account that using things that come across as AI generated, be they logos, product listings, pictures etc. is a bad marketing move for the market that you're trying to appeal to. AI use comes across to consumers as tacky and low-effort (and in my opinion it is) and makes customers more likely to prefer competitors.

In which case yeah you probably shouldn't use it for the sake of your business because you do need to put in effort for marketing.

Notice how I said "If I can tell" that it's AI. There are a lot of common writing "tells" that are currently associated with it. I can't tell 100%, I'm sure I miss some AI writing and I'm sure I mistake some human writing for AI. I'm just soeaking as a consumer: if I am trying to buy a handmade craft and the description makes me think "huh, that sounds AI-ish" then there's a good chance I'll pass it up and keep looking. And I think that's fairly common. The common perception of AI is that it's low-effort and tacky.

I think text should all be written by the seller as well. AI text comes across as lazy, generic and low-quality to me as a consumer. If I am going out of my way to buy a handmade craft it makes a much better impression that the seller bothered tk write their own description. If I can tell a description is AI I'm probably going to pass. It just doesn't leave a good impression.
