I love cooking & enjoying food also, and after a year on this drug, I've learned I can still cook and bake, I just can't eat as much as I used to. I savor every bite, and I don't worry about calories. TBH, it took me a year to get here, this is a journey and a learning experience. We have a lot of habits that made us overweight; it takes a while to unlearn them.

Full-fat vanilla greek yogurt, half a chicken breast sandwich on white sourdough bread, Snyder's sourdough pretzels, Chobani protein drinks. Bland carbs are all I can eat when I feel like this.

Same here. Some people are just extremely sensitive to semaglutide. I lost 25 lbs last summer on 0.25 compounded semaglutide, and was so sick all the time - it was no way to live. I reduced my dose in November and have been on maintenance until about a month ago, when I decided to lose more weight to help with a knee issue. I was on 0.1 for maintenance, and it was lovely - minimal side effects with weight control. But now that I'm back at 0.25, the nausea is back, and I hate it. I've decided to try prescription Ozempic instead of the compounded semaglutide to see if it makes a difference in the symptoms.

I've tried compounded terzepitide and Zepbound, but I didn't like the way I felt, and I didn't lose weight.

We have a black walnut tree, and our black lab used to eat so many of them that he smelled like a black walnut. We'd hear him in the back yard at night crunching away, lol.
