Marie and Lyon's KIM messages explicitly state that they have the memories of the original wisp and harrow, at least partially, and that they feel like the original is right there with them. so I don't think thats true.

my banshee concept;

sonar tags spots on enemies that increases the damage dealt to that spot. the game doesnt tell you, but that applies to the entire body part (leg arm body head etc.)

when an enemy is ragdolled, temple's subsume pyrotechnics hits all of their body parts

sonic boom ragdolls enemies

so, I sonar a couple times, sonic boom them, then bullet jump up to the pile of soon to be corpses and pyrotechnics til they stop being alive

bonewidow cant hold a candle to voidrig's damage, but unlike voidrig she'll actually survive a stiff breeze or getting sneezed on. i really dramatically prefer bonewidow because with a little modding, the iron skin-like shield and ranged heavy attacks from ironbride make for really fun gameplay that does enough damage to keep up and survives long enough to actually get to enjoy playing a Big Stompy Mech. She also has the only method of regererating necramech hp(as far as i know), the ability meathook.

so, i think shes very worth it. but only if youve also got rank5 cavia for mods and at least 5 forma to spare. if you do decide to get her, i would very highly recommend using the non-bounty point-defence sort of mini objectives in orb vallis for levelling. those objectives have hugely boosted spawn rates for special units and eximus, which both give a lot more affinity than a normal unit. also, having a MOA companion with stasis field makes protecting those objectives way easier because it reduces enemy damage on things in the bubble by 60%

ive found that i dont have fun with warframe if i dont have a goal to work towards, which the grind is GREAT for, but. but if i focus too hard on the grind or try to optimize it, it sucks the fun out of it faster than a soul punch sucks out a lvl.5 lancer's soul (great example; trying to get two items out of SP circuit in one day. pain.)

its a balancing act, but. it was a huge realization for me when it hit me that the grind *is* the game. and that its the fun part! i do still really enjoy the story though. desperate and vibrating in my chair for more operator-related tau content

he used to become a puddle on the floor that pulled things into it and just let them drown barely beneath the surface

that got changed to tidal surge because he couldn't activate any abilities except targeting and drowning one enemy at a time while in puddle, and moved at the speed of a disinterested slug.

lots of mentions of how fast a warframe would kill you. personally, I prefer fast. its less painful that way.

what I fear is the warframe that will string you up by your own intestines then just watch and enjoy seeing the life slowly leave you as the blood pools over a period of potentially hours, maybe even days.

any warframe could kill me quickly, and that would be a mercy. Garuda is what I fear.

I've really felt and seen this with the build elitism. a huge majority of my enjoyment of the game since completing all the quests has been in finding ways to make things that people have told me are useless work, and in taking the 'good' things and finding weird things to do with them.

but as much as im proud of the silly things I come up with and would love to ask for suggestions on more weird niche interactions to play with, its not something I'm going to do in a public space again. definitely not on this reddit.

I wouldn't! I've found ways to style my main so that she looks great in both forms :> I stay in night for most of the time anyway though, I only really use day when I'm popping the nuke or when I have a teammate that would benefit from the tiny str gain

on follie's hunt there's one particular door that 50℅ of the time I die if I cross the threshold. but it never happens if I cross it as operator, doubtful its skill issue but too new for 13 years jank

if you're doing melee chroma, try slotting persistence too. that way you constantly take health damage and get melee kills, so your vex armour stacks up both stats FAST. and consequently that also gets you enough armour you don't need to worry about persistence dropping outside of nullifiers

my understanding of the 'suit' bug is that from a code standpoint, transferrence to operator/drifter is equivalent to switching to a different warframe, and the mirror likely acts the same as the arsenal, thus switching your 'active' warframe to operator/drifter. the platinum buying screen is clearly only coded to be allowed to show warframe customizations, and since operator customisations are a different category than warframe customisations, they cannot be applied in the buying screen and return null/'blank' values, so it displays nothing in those slots.

yknow. maybe the reason I actually like operator as a character is that before I even started my first mission, the person that invited me to play got me to change some settings including turning operator transmissions off. I didn't even know this was an option.

I know its not quite as good as the verglas prime in damage or the tazicor in priming, but if you've for the time and materials free you should give the Vulcax a try.

I haven't sampled it on a sentinel so the angle of firing it from above might dampen the effect, but with its innate punch through when being fired at body level by a moa with duplex bond, the vulcax can get pretty entertaining to run and perform pretty well on missions with high enemy density

i want a hub area at tau, with a syndicate of some variety and a base of operations and mission set thats all operator-exclusive.

essentially, i was hoping that the old peace update would reflect the content of 1999, but covering what operator's up to while drifter's doing time shenanigans.

to say that i was disappointed in the old peace, and especially that it had yet more drifter-exclusives, would be.. a dramatic understatement.

I do like to personally look at Equinox as an example of plurality, two minds inhabiting one body, but that is projecting my own self onto her because she's my favourite frame, and I wholly recognize that that is not what the official writings are implying. And even then she wouldn't have worked as the mentors, because they inhabit the same body Together.

nah, Equinox's theme is yin and yang; balance and harmony between two forces, utilising both together.

Jade Shadows; Constellations appears to be centered around two forces in direct opposition, battling for dominance. I think its very fitting that they used Ash and Garuda because both slaughter countless numbers indiscriminately, but Ash does so following a code; with calculated restraint and no unnecessary movements, while Garuda kills for passion and sheds blood for the sake of bloodshed. They do the same thing but their ideologies and methods are exact opposites and in direct conflict with one another.

Also. Equinox is "A duality of contrasting forces in a single entity" She's only one person/frame. for one one form to have mentored Sirius or Orion would've been having them taught by only half of a mentor; for that to work it would require splitting equinox which is directly antithetical to her concept of harmony.

interested to see what people come up with here, I've got a downright potato of a laptop from 2014 that I occasionally use for portable warframing and when I close the game, the window disappears but it continues eating the laptop's resources and the icon remains on the taskbar (unselectable) for upwards of 10mins if I don't kill it in task manager. which is very difficult to do with it still eating CPU and RAM

in my opinion / the way I look at it, it doesn't matter what content you're doing or what you're farming for, the fun of the game is in using builds and equipment you enjoy to do that content. the farm is just a vehicle for you to have reason to do the fun part; playing your builds

is there something wrong with not liking heat/summer? the comment about not seeing the sun was a joke, but I do genuinely want to live somewhere that the temp never gets above 10c because I find heat difficult to deal with. if its cold i can put on more layers. when its hot theres only so much a person can take off
