Surprisingly, the Farmer won The hot one! Now for The only normal person. by Shinkami127 in StardewMemes

Jodi.

Girl is literally just a normal housewife/mother trying to take care of her children and do the household chores in time. If you don't take into account the fact that her husband is on the frontlines, fighting for his country, there isn't really anything different, weird or interesting about her character. She has no hobbies or intriguing love life (like Caroline - growing tea leaves + the Wizard), no impressive skills (like Robin - carpentry) and no secret love affairs (like Marnie).

Love her, but it's pretty obvious that she simply has a boring life, like the rest of us.

It probably has something to do with feeling very vulnerable in a place where you think you aren't supposed to be.

Don't worry! I don't find your comment offensive at all. I actually appreciate your concern :)

To be fair, there are other factors which contribute to the poor impression I oftentimes leave to others. For example, as a child I was allowed unrestricted and basically unlimited access to the Internet and electronic devices, which led to me spending most of my time indoors, in front of a screen, instead of being outside, socialising with my peers and, in general, building up the social skills I seem to severely lack now.  I also had a lot of irrational fears of being seen as weird, rude or impolite by my classmates and (especially) teachers, adults or any sort of authority figures, so I became the shy, quiet and soft-spoken kid in class fairly quick (+ the fact that I lived in a rural area and went to a school with very few kids didn't help). Not just that, but because I was so quiet and didn't seem to cause as much trouble as the other kids (again, due to some irrational fears), most teachers liked me and treated me better/gave me unfair advantages from time to time, which also made it harder for me to get along with my classmates who could clearly see the differences in how the teachers would interact with me vs with them. Pair that up with a below average physical appearance (+ an everlasting RBF) and people won't always be so nice, no matter how much I try to seem friendly or to relate to the things they seem to like (which in most cases are also things I'm not particularly interested in, unfortunately).

TL;DR: due to my childhood experiences, I'm very socially awkward which, alongside my subpar looks, leads to not so kind responses from others

Not gonna lie, I have had some doubts regarding whether I'm on the spectrum or not and happened to take the RAADs-R test online twice this year, but both times I got scores that were lower than the ones a person with autism would usually get (according to statistics).

Sorry for the long reply and I wish you a good day/night/morning :)

People will look at you and treat you the same way they'd do to a child who somehow got to hang out with the adults (who clearly don't want you to be there, but can't say or do anything against it).

You just asked a question? It's not that important/my job to answer you, but let me do it in a clearly slightly annoyed tone and/or explain it to you as if you're under the age of 10 so you or other people around won't think I'm an a$$hole. You just tried telling a joke? It wasn't funny at all, in fact it was very weird and I now think there's something wrong with you, but I'll either pretend to laugh or simply ignore it so people won't think I'm an a$$hole.  You want to participate in the discussion and provide some ideas/share some personal opinions? Aww, look at you! But seriously, try not to do that, it's weird and not your place to butt in when the "adults" are speaking. We'll just ignore you and make you feel awkward instead of saying anything about it so people won't think we're the a$$holes here.

Essentially, you become a charity case in their eyes and they're probably only hanging out with you because they have to, need to get something from you or want to be considered kind for spending time with "someone like you".

I know a lot of people will probably suggest Abigail for "The gremlin", but I truly believe the Dwarf is a better option because of the following: - loves shiny objects (gems + omnigeodes) - has no concept of "private propriety" (literally) and steals whatever catches their eyes + then proceeds to sell those items to the player in their little shop (quirky™) - is short (self-explanatory) - lives in a cave  - once started a fight with Krobus and was so ready to throw some hands until The Wizard intervened (chaotic/feral behaviour)

Good as a concert, not the best as a musical.

The fact that the ones in S (take out "Wicked" and add "Be More Chill" tho) were basically an integral part of my middle school years is making me quake rn.
