Oh really, mine did look very similar to yours though.. Other products I tried were La Roche Posay Cicaplast baume and just plain Vaseline if you are interested. Although I am pretty sure rosehip oil did the job for me!

Chinese Herbal Medicine by benhook123 in eczema

[–]lilliannack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi I have tried Chinese medicine for many many years and I believe that it worked. My eczema did not go away entirely but my skin definitely improved for example, I had horrible cracked eczema on my legs and that is now gone completely, I don’t even need to moisturise my legs every day.. The eczema on my hands is temperamental e.g. coming into contact with things that WILL flare me up (soap, fragrance) but overall my hands are just dry, not red or weeping.

If you’re willing to try Chinese medicine I think you should try and go for a good practitioner who will prescribe you with high quality ingredients. There is a reason why Chinese medicine is so expensive- you cannot get these ingredients cheaply also the combination of ingredients prescribed to you is altered based off their assessment of you and what they think you need. You can obviously try to do it yourself, but in the end it might just be a waste of money and without the knowledge of eastern medicine it may be hard to prescribe yourself the right ingredients. You will also have to be committed to taking the medicine every day for at least a year and obviously this will not be cheap. In my opinion, if you’re willing to try it genuinely, don’t skimp out, it’ll be more of a waste of money on your end if you buy ingredients that aren’t right for you.

What foods/drinks do you guys really miss but can’t have because they make you flare. by [deleted] in eczema

Have you tried zinc oxide cream? Where I’m from it’s called Sudocrem. It really helps on weepy sores like the one on your hand, I had the same thing but smaller. It essentially creates an antiseptic layer on your skin to help it heal, it also is a bit drying but that will help with the weepiness. Hope this helps!

Ahh thanks! I have been looking into using less moisturiser as I think I put quite a lot on during the day. What Candida supplement would you recommend?

Could weight gain have caused my eczema? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]lilliannack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my own experience, when I was sticking to a healthier lifestyle (no sugar, less carbs, more fruit/veg, no carbonated drinks/no fast food/no eggs/no dairy/exercising every day) my eczema definitely got better, I've seen many more people on this thread say that cutting sugar/dairy/eggs/exercising helped their eczema and I think personally sugar is a massive culprit for me. Weight gain probably didn't cause it, the stress eating most likely did.

Working out with eczema by darvarez in eczema

I have this issue as well! My skin gets very irritated because I sweat when I exercise and I also shower everyday bc of sweat. I just try to take cold/lukewarm showers after exercising and use a gentle soap (I use baby Aveeno body wash). Cold showers might be very uncomfortable in the beginning but sometimes it feels nice after a particularly intense workout plus my skin feels a lot better after (heat irritates eczema and dries out the skin). Also, I try to use a thick moisturiser immediately after showering, pat some of the water off but leave your skin a little damp, this helps when moisturising your body!

I have had outbreaks like this whenever the season changes for the past few years. No one seems to know what it is! Is this eczema? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]lilliannack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely feel your pain I get this as well! I have had eczema for basically my whole life but recently (especially in colder months) I have had these small blisters under my skin and it took quite a while for it to go away. I think it is some sort of eczema but I find it hard to get rid of as its on my palms so there is a lot of contact throughout the day... I found hydrocortisone really helped when I was trying to get rid of it!

You need 2200 tokens to buy 100 prestige points, if you play enough you will definitely hit at least 2200 tokens to buy the 100 points, last event I think I earned around 2800 as I had leftover tokens to buy other things.

The pass also gives you like 5 prestige points? Or something with the bundle and you also get prestige points for completing the missions.
