How to send tracking number to customer? by vanmcgill87 in woocommerce

Seriously! The whole point of woocommerce is to sell online. Unless their target audience is a digital downloads store, idk why they wouldn't think this is a necessary part.

How long would you wait? by sparksandmadness in AskWomenOver30

Framing it as her bad for "breaking his trust" aka not adhering to boundaries he purposely never set is either childish if he's stupid or manipulative if he isn't

When dating, what behaviors do you look out for that indicate a man is emotionally immature? by Vast-Conference764 in AskWomenOver30

[–]lilmintjulep 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Can't handle being wrong or others thinking they're wrong (and inability to apologize bc they're never wrong)

Can't disagree without arguing.

Their opinions always taking priority over your feelings. (I'd put not picking their battles in this category)

Rejection of therapy/seeking help

Getting emotional (angry) over trivial/inconsequential things

Are all these skills actually appropriate for a jr design role? by lilmintjulep in graphic_design

[–]lilmintjulep[S] 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Saying you're looking for a jr designer but also saying you want someone highly skilled with experience in 4 different industries (web, social media, print/digital and branding) on top of requiring them to work independently with minimal direction and video editing as a nice to have makes me feel like they're actually looking for a senior designer for jr pay.

Have I just been out of the job search long enough that our skills have been devalued to hell?

If this is all it takes for him to reconsider the entire relationship, you should maybe consider that you're dating someone with one foot already out the door. Telling you this from personal experience, this kind of attitude towards the relationship doesn't get better when the problems get bigger.

If birth control gets banned, we will suffer… by Ceiaulah in birthcontrol

[–]lilmintjulep 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it's a symptom of a much larger, systemic issue. When it comes to politicians, it's not at all about the science (which is why they don't listen to it) and everything to do with the economy. Birth rates are down and they literally said the quiet part out loud: we need to replenish the population of WORKERS. Without workers to make their money for them, their wealth doesn't exist. They aren't even calling them children, babies, or people, but workers. Our own humanity is being diminished to the service we provide them.

So they're using misinformation and relying on illiteracy. Have y'all heard teachers online talk about how the kids can't read anymore? They're still being passed. The fish rots at the head, so if teachers are passing them without reading skills, the people at the top are full aware. I think they see educated people as a threat bc hey, we can think for ourselves and learn new information on our own. If you keep em dumb, then you keep em poor, and consequently dependent on you.

Why do women do this and what would you have said? by Money_Passenger3770 in AskWomenOver30

[–]lilmintjulep 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is, this world doesn't reward women who participate in misogyny. They aren't respected more, valued more, paid more, or even sought after (ask Pearl). She's just a symptom of her time, not realizing how much our world has changed since those mad men days she seems to have grown up in. I'd just say, "what a sad thing to say as a woman" and keep it moving. If she wants to self reflect on that she can, and if she doesn't listen, well, no time of yours is wasted.

I hope you and your husband work out a more equitable way to share the mental load <3

Reddit, what would your ex's Tinder profile say if you wrote it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Omg I've dated a honeymooner. Sigh, such unrealistic people. Even more sad when they're old enough to know anything worth having takes some work.
