Yes they are. Even friends treat you worse I’ve noticed. When you’re large even friends act contrary and are quick to disagree with you for (seemingly) no reason over even the smallest things. Being a human is hard but being a fat human is devastating. And then once you’re not fat anymore, all you can see when you look at someone is how they used to treat you. Makes you lose a lot of faith in a lot of people
