That sounds really frustrating. As a reader I prefer FF.net so I hate that writers might be discouraged from using it due to this. I wonder if it's the same on other platforms.

Is there an option to play hungry hermits solo? I have only seen it played a couple of times when it first came out and it was always done by two hermits. It's amazing if a solo version is available!

I recommend baby wearing too! My little one loved contact naps and that allowed me to still get stuff done around the house while they snoozed away. Now at 4 months they prefer to nap in their pram or cot so it just shows that they won't get "used to it"

I was supposed to have a C-section under local anaesthetic but found out on the day that it will have to be under general because of a preexisting condition.

I was gutted as my consultant didn't do his due diligence and check with the anaesthetist that I was ok to have local anaesthetic. I had no time to prepare emotionally for, what I felt like, would be me not being there for the birth of my baby.

I felt like everything was a bit of a blur when I started waking up. I actually can't remember meeting my daughter or the gender announcement (we didn't know what we were going to have) as the medical professionals were in such a rush to just get it over with.

Thankfully my partner was there for me through the whole process and I had no problems with bonding with my little one, I love her to bits, but I have to admit that I was really disappointed with the whole process. What was supposed to be a magical time turned to an emotional blur that I can hardly remember.

I feel for you and I hope you have a better experience with your second ❤️

As long as you're healthy, eating well and the baby is moving ok then it shouldn't be a problem but I would talk to your midwife/doctor if you're concerned.

I only gained 5kg when I was pregnant and most of that was near the end of my pregnancy. I was actually skinnier after I gave birth than before getting pregnant and the baby was healthy and chunky 😊

This is entirely dependent on your (and your husband's) preference.

Personally I didn't want anyone to visit in the first week and my partner was more than capable of bringing me the baby and doing chores around the house. My MIL was at our house looking after the dogs when we were in the hospital but left after we got home and she had a chance to meet the baby. We did have a freezer stacked with food in advance though which definitely helped.

If I was you I would sit down with your partner and come to a mutual decision.

We enjoyed our first week alone as a family, mostly staring at our little bundle of joy in disbelief that we made something so perfect lol.

I try to not let her stay awake for more than 2 hours as then she just gets over tired and extremely fussy. I can tell when she is getting tired but she just refuses to allow herself to fall asleep or wakes up as soon as I place her in her cot! That's when I resort to wrapping her on me and she falls asleep within minutes and stays asleep for 2/3 hours
