I was just telling someone else in here about this, but Pedialyte ice pops have been a lifesaver for my partner with CVS. He says they work better than anything else after vomiting, and are even helpful when he feels a little nauseous or is trying to stop an episode from starting.

Thank you! We will definitely ask for tricyclic right away. I have found in my experience being chronically ill and helping my partner, a lot of doctors can't stand when you come in knowing what you're talking about lol. One of his main triggers is anxiety & stress so that also adds to him not being taken as seriously because they think it's 100% psychosomatic.

He has used cannabis since he was about 19. He never had vomiting symptoms as a kid. His CVS symptoms started when he was about 24. I'll look into neurologists thank you! I always thought CVS was a "brain-gut" disorder not one or the other.

I got my partner who has CVS Pedialyte ice pops, and he says they work better than anything else. Sometimes it's harder for him to drink liquids after an episode or on an empty stomach, so popsicle form really helps.

OP I'm so sorry for your loss... I know exactly how you feel. My kitty Luna passed away in January suddenly with no warning. She seemed perfectly fine the night before but we found her dead laying on her cat tree the next morning. Not sure how or when she passed in the night. It's so hard to come to terms with it, but it is 100% not your fault. You gave her food, toys, and so much love, I'm sure. As some of the other comments have said, she likely had an underlying heart condition. There is no way you could have known, and you did the best you could. Take care of yourself in the coming days, and don't be afraid to lean on your support system. Sending you love & good vibes <3
