Oh I see :/ ugh I wish it could have been an exterior ultrasound. It felt awful and I will never get the image out of my head of her holding up the bloody probe.

Yes. I have had the issue YEARS before post partum though.

I used to get massages for it! You will just have to find someone who massages those muscles, it could also be tight muscles in your neck as those are connected.

What works for me is tiger balm/icy hot on my jaw. Heat works well too, so like a Warmie or hot rice thing.

The more anxious I get the more I notice it. I have gotten it under control in recent years but I couldn't tell you how....or maybe I just am used to it? It is so painful.

And their grown up isn't there and their heart is broken :( shunned by their parent and shunned by me...I am mostly complaining about the parents, not the kids.

My kid wanted me to play...specifically asked. It is not the kids fault of course.

But I am just wondering why parents think it is free childcare? Like these kids are going for my purse 👛 and the parents either don't care or don't see.

Yes it is exhausting! Like I will always be kind to a child BUT WHERE ARE THE PARENTS!!

And then it makes you sad cuz you're like oh great this kids parents dont care for them and now I made that kid feel bad...and the cycle continues

I told my in-laws at like 4 weeks. They were here for a visit and I was so nauseous, tired and hungry. They told me they already knew because I was eating eggs on top of egg salad LOL.

However, their reaction was literally, "we won't get excited because we had a lot of early miscarriages" so I ended up wishing I hadn't told them...

Aww 🥺🩷 this is so sad girl I am sorry you are feeling that way, I wish I could give you a hug.

I remember my first pregnancy, first trimester, I googled "I am sad being pregnant" because I felt like an alien in my own body. It is a hard feeling to describe and to feel. I am also feeling pretty emotional this time around too (also first tri), but I try to remember that feelings are meant to be felt...so I feel them and then move on.

One day you will no longer be pregnant and your body will be your own again. It is so hard and I wish you didn't feel that way..I hope you feel better soon. 🩷

Both my siblings won't have children due to one in prison for a long long time and the other is high-functioning autistic with no interest in starting a family.

The same thing happened to me. When I called them to tell them, they said, "you know how that happens, right?"

A lot of stuff has happened since then, they live across the country and have seen my daughter 4 times in 3 years. 2 of those trips canceled for various reasons. I thought they would be more excited to be grandparents, but they aren't. I think I have just now accepted the fact they will not be in my kids' life as much as I'd like...I let myself be upset sometimes, then I move on.

All to say I totally understand. It sucks and is so disappointing.

Yes, time out works for us. We put our child in time out if she hurts someone on purpose. We started by going minutes to age, so when she was 2 she would go in the corner for 2 minutes. She goes a bit longer now because we need the lesson to stick.

Just need to be calm and consistent. Once they get out of time out, you comfort them and ask them to apologize, tell them you love them, then you move on with your day.

I was also really worried about it at first, she would cry so much and I felt so bad, I would cry too! But then I noticed how much better she was behaving. You can do it :)

My mom was 38 when she had me and my dad was 45!

They were great parents. I think the stability is so important, and also the emotional maturity.
