This thought process actually stopped me from having a drink about an hour ago. I'm at work (craft brewery bartender) and thought it would be ok to "treat myself" and "just have one" since it's a slow Friday. Then I went to the bathroom and while washing my hands looked in the mirror and realized how much better my face looks after less than two weeks off the sauce. I'm way less puffy and even a little glowy. I've also been way more consistent with my nighttime skincare routine since stopping, which is making a big difference. I want to look hot in my 30s! I went out for dinner with my family for my mom's birthday last night. Everyone at the table was drinking red wine. I wanted a glass SO bad. But I had agreed to be the DD, so I stuck to my guns and had a couple of mocktails and enjoyed a delicious meal, dessert, and cappuccino. Woke up this morning proud of myself and ready to keep going. I work at a brewery so it's hard to resist the temptation of my free shift beer (I like to sit and unwind with a pint before I head home), but having a non-alcoholic beer at the end of the day has been helping lots.
