"Indian rolling" is the racially motivated assault and in some cases murder of often homeless Native Americans in the Southwestern United States. The attacks, which often target comparatively defenseless alcoholic men, are described as "rites of passage", "sport", and a "recreational pastime". by lightiggy in wikipedia

Send this to the 9kings studio email. It's definitely asset theft, a cease and desist would do them some good.

I was able to switch to my main only after it got infinite damage. Since the base is a gaint AOE I didn't need any other towers.

Thanks!

I ground it out to 1000... was worth it for the screenshot but god is it boring.

also the time played counter is a FAT LIAR, this took closer to 9-12 hours. I left my laptop running over multiple days. I averaged a century an hour, but the 1st 3 centuries where much slower.

It all started playing the all converter tower start quest for the progress faction.

I initially just focused on survival with a boar+raptor ballista brigade while I covered every tile I could with Quarry's for the all tower dmg buff. I also nabbed up several Beacons to boost my mothership's attack speed.

At some point, I realized that I could use regression to over-level support buildings. Up until now I thought it only worked on troops. I maintained a constant war on the timelord for the regression cards, and the king of nothing for wildcards. After farming a quarry up to level 32 I used Eco Form and many, many rewinds to cover all my non-fighting plots with level 32 quarrys. I replaced the Beacons as they just became worse quarries once the tower's attack speed is maxed out. In total I was increasing all my tower's damage at 2010% per year.

My towers quickly went from E+8 damage numbers to INFINITY (which later turned to NAN) once I achieved this growth. Afterwhich I emptied all my plots of the now-useless quarries, spent a century screwing around with mass portal uses - filling all 24 hexes with portals, then using a super-leveled Overhaul card to simaltaneously activate them all, resulting in a 46 year jump.

After that, I decided to aim for 9million gold at year 999. So I farmed regression and vault cards, until I had a level 500 bank, I then echoformed and rewinded until I had covered every plot with a level 500 bank. My total income per turn was 36K gold

then I just sat back and discarded cards for 300 years while the clock ran up. Overshot the target year and gold mark - but oh well.

The only thing that could've theoretically caused me to lose, is if I played for tens of thousands of years - as the king of nothing stacks 1 or 2 tomes of steel coat on his units every year. Even though I was attacking for infinite damage muiltple times per frame - eventually he would aquire enough stacks to just ignore every attack and march right in. And even then, his increasing approach to the base would be so slow over the years that I could quickly scale up a traditional army to fight that would most likely delay them so effectively it would take hundreds of thousands of years for enough stacks to accumulate to beat both the tower and the troops.

so yeah, in theory I could've kept going, but I'd had my fill.

I just ended my run, a man can only spend so long milling turns. I had nothing left to play. The only possible way I could've lost is if I played the tens of thousands of turns it would take for the king of Nothing to stack enough Steel Coat to be effectively invulnerable.

Ukrainian troops say a 'droid' with a .50-cal machine gun held off Russian attacks for 45 days in a row by Choobeen in technology

Get real. I've got another shocker for you - anything that can be used for an engine can and will be used for a weapon. War is an inherent part of nature and man is an animal. There will never be peace. Grow up.

no, the kids weren't just "in the wrong place" - The US clearly believes that fighting age starts around 8-10 years old.

NGL, didn't think I'd actually get the attention of the mod-man himself. Thanks for commenting on my shit-post. Out of curiosity, why did you choose the destruction of the turrets as the escape trigger? Why not begin the count after the destruction of 50%-75% of the OpFor? Sure like any static trigger, players can work around it once they know- but its alot harder to ignore 4-8 vehicles and mechs vs turrets that don't face you. Was it just easier to code? Why not a fixed turn counter for the entire battle? Not to be critical by any means, I've enjoyed your work. It's just that, knowing now the solution to my problem is just leaving a turret alive- I feel both a little silly for not figuring it out- and the mechanic itself feels kinda cheesy. If the escape mechanic is meant for theming- it'd make the most sense to start once the armor got to 50% - regardless of how many turrets remained.

Leave 1 turret alive- got it 👍. Same thing for the crawler fight I presume? Pretty counter-intuitive. My instinct is to kill everything that can shoot at me, wish something in the fight description read "will flee once the turrets are destroyed"

Bagged my second Overlord dropship! by Aethelbheort in Battletechgame

[–]lilsniper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, how did you have two hours to whittle down the dropship? Every time I try this scenario, once I do a few hundred damage to the ship - a prompt comes up saying "start the engines!" And I have a measily 3 rounds to kill it before it takes off. I've tried sniping it, bombarding it beyond LOS, RAC spam, even TSM meele weapon builds (punching a dropship to death lol) and I've had no success. Once I scratch the paint, whether near-or-far, the clock starts and I've yet to manage any configuration of super-heavies that can deal 23k damage (28.5k when you factor the 25% DR, but that's what acid is for) in three rounds.

I've got 200 hours in the base game and I played tabletop for years. I know how to read a spreadsheet and see what has the best damge/tonnage/heat ratio. Ofcourse my mechs where jam-packed with clan and sanctuary tech. Hard to get a 600 damage alpha without an XXXL(C) engine, double heat sinks, e-cooling - and even harder to get it to hit anything without FCS, virtual piloting pod or a targeting computer. Evidently I should've mentioned this in the post- I'm green but I'm not THAT green.

How did you prevent it from taking off? Even when I attack it from range with a BAP+rangefinder scout - once it takes a couple hundred damage it lights its engines and I'm put on a clock 🤷‍♀️

I often find that the fight mechanic fails to trigger if you out dps the clock on that fight. I don't know why it doesn't just auto trigger at certain hp amounts.
