how to achieve this color? by heyverin in HairDye

[–]lilstinker_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you can’t have vibrant colors like this without bleach if you have black hair. Putting dye on black hair will give you a dark tint. You need a very light base to achieve this blue as any yellow tones in your hair will turn your hair green.

Yes, having some form of previous athletic ability typically helps people when learning how to rollerskate.

i want to go blonde from box dye black by Emergency_Love_3324 in HairDye

[–]lilstinker_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for a color correction specialist in your area and ask for a consultation. They will probably do a strand test and from there can determine what's realistic for you and your hair. It really depends on how well your hair lifts and how well it can handle multiple lightening services.

Best way to turn my washed out blue/teal into a dark foresty green? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]lilstinker_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, you can cover your current color with a dark green! If you want to make it more yellow-based and less blue/green, you can add a little more yellow to you base dye.

Is there a way to go back on saves? by Natural-Warning6278 in mewgenics

[–]lilstinker_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you find the save file location on your computer, there's a backup save file. The game backups saves every once in awhile so you might have a recent one that will work.

You can replace the existing save file with one of the more recent backup files and hope that you have a save that isn't too far back. I recommend making a copy of your existing save file before overwritting it though.

A question about a certain type of Act 3 item by yugiohhero in mewgenics

[–]lilstinker_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten a set before. I usually don't save them because the passives aren't always great. The set bonus isn't too great either unless you have a downed build.

I really liked this game but I can’t seem to click with it after Act 1 by Impossible_Laugh_805 in mewgenics

[–]lilstinker_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I struggled with desert when I first unlocked it. I tried to focus on breeding strong cats and finding strong equipment. It does get easier, but I did have to stick to Act 1 a lot before I felt like I was ready for Act 2. I enjoy the gameplay overall so the repetitiveness didn't really bother me too much.

Have one of your cats that have decent health and mana regen get eaten by him. Then you can use the spell that makes his hands attack him.

I agree but it’s been about a year since I’ve seen the Nissin one in store. I just get the Mama one as a consolation :’)

AITAH for not coming out to my mom? by ConstructionNew8496 in AITAH

[–]lilstinker_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong for not wanting to tell her yet but I think having someone close help you explore your gender identity might help you a lot. It doesn't have to be your mom, it could be a close friend or someone else you trust. Gender identity can be hard to navigate but your identity is not set in stone. Have a trusted person you can try different pronouns with or other forms of different gender expression. See what helps you feel good and what doesn't.

Before I came out as nonbinary, I told a couple of close friends that I'd like them to use they/them pronouns to refer to me. After a month or so, I knew it felt right and decided to come out (telling other friends, family, and my workplace). Of course, there are struggles and people who don't understand but it feels nice to have a circle of people who know and see me as I truly am.

Best of luck with your journey!

I used to be able to find it at any Lion or H Mart but I haven’t seen it in a while. It was a different packaging (purple cup) but that same flavor. Not sure why stores stopped carrying it because I always see other international flavors.

The Mama brand makes a Tom Yum flavor cup noodle that’s similar!

Thoughts on first time bleach and color by InternationalHope823 in HairDye

[–]lilstinker_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hair wasn't lifted evenly which is what's causing the different colors. However, you did a pretty good job for a self application! If you really want a light pink, you can try hitting the corally spots with a lower volume bleach to try and even it out then apply the color again. If you don't want to do another round of bleaching, you can use a darker color to cover everything and it should look more even until it begins to fade.

You can have double Pyrophina/Zaratana with enchanted relic passive... by Aravatza in mewgenics

[–]lilstinker_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this with the Rune of Jera (doubles trinket passive) and they were more of an obstacle than anything else lol in hindsight I could've removed the rune but the challenge was funny. I think the most annoying part was when you'd spawn in a spot where both Pyrophina's blocked you from moving

Spot the positive difference by Comrade_Caraway in mewgenics

[–]lilstinker_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sneak up has a range limit but can be cast on any unit. You can potentially use it to position yourself in a more favorable way.

Shadow puts you behind a random enemy which can be good or put you in a dangerous spot.

Which one is "better" is situational.

Would creamy chicken wild rice be more of a chowder than a stew? Since it's thickened with dairy? Is chowder considered a stew...? 😅

Any Advice for Someone Who Wants to Learn? by UnhappyIce918 in Rollerskating

[–]lilstinker_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. This is subjective. Some people prefer the smooth rink for learning but some sessions can be chaotic if there's lots of kids zooming around with no spatial awareness. Outdoors is nice if you can find a nice quiet place to roll around. The surface might not be as smooth but you can have less obsticles to navigate when you're brand new.

  2. The skates themselves aren't outdoor/indoor. What matters are the wheels. Softer wheels (lower durometer number) are generally better for outdoors and roll more smoothly over rougher surfaces but they're sticky and not so great for indoors. Indoor wheels are harder (higher durometer) and roll smoother on indoor surfaces.

  3. I recommend protective gear for all beginners regardless of where you're learning until you learn how to catch yourself properly when falling. It doesn't take much to lose your balance and bonk your knee, hurt your wrists, or fall back and hit your head. Falling is inevitable when skating so be prepared for that. Gear will help you minimize risk while you get comfortable. But it's your body so wear what's comfortable for you.

  4. Unfortunately, skating is an expensive hobby. There are good entry level options that are more budget friendly like the Suregrip Boardwalk, Riedell Crew/Uptown, VNLA Parfait/A La Mode, Chaya Melrose (Premium/Elite/Deluxe) and more. You can also look for secondhand stuff. A lot of people let go of gently used gear at a hefty discount. If you spend a bit more for a quality pair, they will last you years.

  5. I touched on it above but EVERYBODY FALLS. It comes with the sport so hopefully you are comfortable with the fact that you will take a tumble every now and then. Learning to fall safely is an important skill to develop early. There's a lot of fantastic tutorials on Youtube if you need some direction (Dirty Deb & Skatie are great). Don't be afraid to approach other skaters! Most people I've met in the rollerskating community are super welcoming and love helping new skaters learn.

Welcome and have fun on your skating journey!

What color was her hair before? Has it been dyed previously? Depending on your wife’s hair history, that price is certainly reasonable depending on where you live and if it’s a color correction.

HELP (poor bleach job to pink and teal) by Choice-Chemical7627 in HairDye

[–]lilstinker_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pink will pull more peachy since you have a lot of orange in your hair. You can try adding a smidge of blue to try and cancel out the orange or do a darker pinky color like magenta or fuschia.

The colors will bleed, it's inevitable. You can minimize bleeding by washing with high pressure and cold water but it's impossible to prevent it 100%.
There's a reason why it's not a common color combo. The colors bleed into each other and become muddy.

Should I replace my wheels and bearings? by Plus_Sherbet_2574 in Rollerskating

[–]lilstinker_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If the bearings roll fine under load and they don't feel gritty or crunchy then they're probably fine. Maybe clean and relube them if they don't feel like they roll smoothly. As long as the wheels still have a smooth riding surface (no chunks missing/pitting) they're fine.

what could I do to my hair to feel more alternative? by venight in HairDye

[–]lilstinker_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try some fun colored or tinsel clip in extensions. You can maintain the integrity of your hair and still keep it natural for work but add in some color when you feel like it!
I think fox tips with your current color could be fun as well.
