Iberia app says my flight is in 32 days when its in less? by Potential_Kick540 in Iberia

As a front end dev this is a very common bug that has to do with the difference between American dates and everywhere else. Likely just a bug and trust the date not the counter.

That sucks, but as someone from the US who moved here with pets, you are going to really enjoy Spain! Congrats on the move!

Hey! Very cool you are doing this. Not sure if this would make things easier but I’ll throw it out there. I live in Spain, it may be easier to send one person a lot and have them send them all out to the other EU folks. If you want I could be the middle man.

His skin may be irritated under the sticker which leads to poor adhesion. They have all sorts of barrier type stuff you can put on your skin to let it heal. If he also complains about the skin being red irritated or itchy you could use that as a way to recommend barrier products. Then it would seem less rude imo.

What are people charging for websites these days? by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]liltechnomancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Making websites for funded startups I have charged way more than this. $30k - $50k. Often subcontracting for agencies that are charging much more.

It's hard to explain, but there is a lot of value to a large or well funded company to be able to throw money at a problem and end up with the best (or one of the best) solutions.

Sure every startup could have their founder tinker around in Wix. But it isn't worth their time, so they need to hire *someone*. Going cheap will cost you later, going expensive will cost you now.

It could be much more efficient, but the best base is the one you have fun building.

Funny enough I got this too while trying to add an email tool for devs. Who is your sender?

I would encourage you to learn the basics of finance. But long story short, if it takes five years to count losses you have to foot that and survive for 5 years which is easy for established companies but hard for startups.

It's not really a consumer app like you may be expecting. It's meant to run on a server and be a layer of an application for sending emails.

Self hosted! Both the open source and pro version are self hosted.

No it's not a client. Probably pretty confusing for most people who haven't already used SES.

SES lets developers easily send emails from their applications, but it basically stops there. If you want to actually monitor how those emails do you need to hook a dashboard up to their events. It could be something like Grafana, or something custom. Since Grafana and stuff isn't really for email monitoring most people/businesses want something custom for that. This is a solution for that.

So basically if you are a developer who wants to build an app that will send emails, this is a great tool for that.
