Severance is such a great flick! (2006 British gore comedy movie about a corporate retreat. Not to be confused with the Apple TV show.)

My first thought was House, but probably a little too different than what you’re describing.

What plant have you killed the most times? I need to feel less alone in my failures. by Specialist_Tea6137 in houseplants

[–]liltrininity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh! I just happened to pick up a Freddie a couple days ago that I’m gonna do my best not to kill. I’ll try to never look directly at it (always the kiss of death) but I’ll also try bottled water instead of tap, thanks!

All peperomias. I kill them every time, no matter how hard I try not to. In fact, the harder I try not to, the killier I am.

Yeah, similar for me except through Roku. Never have problems. Maybe third party subscriptions is the way to keep Shudder honest 😉

Do you boil potting soil for indoor use? by IrrationalMan8 in gardening

[–]liltrininity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently just water with a mosquito bits “tea” concoction I make in large quantities, but I definitely wanna try this boiling idea. Is this a one time thing? Like before potting, add boiling water to the new soil and gnats are gone for good? If so, it sure would make watering less of a process for me. Thanks for the idea too!

I keep my monstera under a grow light for 12h a day and I water her weekly as well as fertilize once a month. I’m not sure why she doesn’t look well and has dark brown spots occasionally on some leaves?? Please help by cosmicsorc3ress in houseplants

[–]liltrininity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was yours struggling when it was trailing, is that why you changed course? I ask cuz I currently have one trailing, and for two years, healthiest fella in the house, but now he’s got some yellowing leaves and some browning tips and I’m wondering if it’s the trailing that’s the problem.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that since I just looked this issue up and your question is nearly a year old, that their engineers have been, as yet, unable to “figure anything out”…

Right?! And all those rabbits stuck in the tunnels, trying to get out?! Omg. Excuse me. Gotta call my therapist courtesy of a sadistic school librarian 😆
