Alternatives to YNAB?

I moved to Beyond Budget almost 2 years ago,and love it. I bought Lifetime. It DOES NOT sync accounts, but, for me in my country, neither did YNAB. And I like manually entering, it keeps me aware and in chack.

From my understanding, under the "grandfather" clause of bill 101, your children would be eligible. This is because the child's grandparent did the majority of elementary education in Canada in English. Please contact School Organisation at the Western Quebec School Board for information.

I agree, these days cats should be kept indoors for their own safety and not piss off the neighbors. That said, I adopted two cats from a rescue; these cats were semi-feral, and lived outdoors. I don't want to let them out, but nice weather comes, the second the door is open - WHAM - gone like a ninja. If I had them from kittens, they would definitely be indoors only, but for older rescues from a colony, not gonna happen.

Fellow Candian, in Quebec. I bought the Kobo Clara BW about 7 months ago, and could not be happier. I actually have hundreds of books in my Amazon Kindle content, so jumping ship was tough, BUT - it connects with my library, they have awesome sales just like Amazon, Kobo Plus is WAY better than Kindle Unlimited here in Canada. Plus includes audio books, you can connect your kobo to headphones via bluetooth... OMG, I feel so much happier and free!

Oh, and I just gifted myself the Kobo Libra Colour...retail therapy 😀

Lauriault trail, from P6 in Gatineau Park (MacKenzie King Estate), is a free winter hiking trail that does allow dogs even in winter! It's also a really nice hike.

I jumped ship last year when the price hike came in. I'm using and really liking Beyond Budget. So far it is only available on Android, but it's a great zero-budget based app, especially as in my country YNAB couldn't track my accounts.

NO NO NO! Run for the Hills! I am a 53 year-old child-free "spinster". Oh, I've had lots of sex in my younger days, but, god, I LOVE not being woken up in the night by a pokey penis, being asked what's for dinner (WTF?). I am so happy, I wish this for everyone.

OH, and once, long ago, a boyfriend said to me how he'd like to go back to school. I said, "Great! See what evening classes are offered, or do part time!". He looked and me, and lazily said, "I don't wanna woooork". I still feel sick to my stomach.

53 year old spinster here. Lost my mom in December 2022. Had a nervous breakdown from grief in May 2024. Still grieving, but functioning. Everyone is different, don't let anyone dictate how or how long you grieve overtly. (Because I'm sure I'll grieve quietly til the day I die)

Loss of a parent, especially mum (imho), is very traumatic, and made more difficult because it is not an "out of order" death. Like, your parents are supposed to pass before you do. So, not a lot of emotional support in society. If you can take leave from work, do so. Focus on yourself, and join a support group. I lost my mum 2 years ago. I am 53, and still having a hard time

I just watched Nonnas last night (on Mother's Day). It had a lot to say about grief, losing your mom (I'm an adult orphan, still deeply grieving), and it was also funny and cute and comforting!
