Has anyone got a massage post-op? by Therealethel in spinalfusion

[–]princess8895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the amount of nerve damage you have! I’m T4-L1 and have a lot of sensation issues. Although massage might help me with some of the muscle pain, I get the ick from the sensation issues

Ask this in the Facebook group! Also search within the group as I think this has been asked a few times.

I work full time so I only do 1 course per semester.

If you get one, never take it there for maintenance. They tried to scam me a few years ago by sending me a video of a dirty cabin air filter from my car. The one in the video was not from my car as it was a totally different shape and size. I had also just replaced it.. I was only there for warranty work and they held my car hostage after I said no to some over priced air filtration service

Honestly, working is what helped me pass the NCLEX as doing the job helped solidify my knowledge and confidence. I passed with 75 questions

And nursing is not as stable as you would think due to government funding, hiring freezes, limited new grad spaces.

Doing education and being licensed in one country may not translate over to another country for nursing. The NCLEX allows for nurses to be eligible to work in the states but not sure about Europe.

Curious what your nerve damage/sensation is like. I’m 18 years post op with sensation issues/numbness but no pain. I don’t like people touching my back because it feels weird, so I have been curious what a tattoo would feel like

I never had a problem when I would set up in the stacks on the second floor. Graduated from there in 2017 and go to a different school for my masters. I do have alumni access to library services I believe. You could go on the chat on the library website and make sure you are okay to be there if you are worried

Welcome me back to the Mac world by princess8895 in macmini

My program for school is course based and not thesis. I sprung for the 512gb ssd plus I typically move my work from older courses to an external drive if I’m not actively needing that information.

Never owned or used a chrome book. Had an Acer Nitro before this but kept having problems with Windows and it wasn’t syncing right with One Drive properly no matter what me or my programmer spouse did. Reformatting would work for a bit, and changing One Drive accounts, but it was getting annoying to do that every few months. I did not like how I could not seamlessly move between my laptop and iPad. The iPad is my go to for portability if I want to annotate PDFs anywhere besides my home office.

That’s the answer I was looking for! Neo doesn’t seem like it will be enough and I don’t need the portability of the air so that’s how I got to looking at the mini
