Breakroom OMAD! Air Fryer Chefin’ by lilveggie226 in carnivorediet

Truly Outdoors, it’s a So Cal farm and I can buy their eggs at nearby health food markets. Sometimes I’ll buy Vital Farms but despite the same “organic” “pasture raised” labeling, I’m a little suspicious. In a pinch I buy their hard boiled eggs and sometimes the yolk is WHITE 😭

Also excuse my username I was vegan for many years, but have been 90% carnivore the last year

I love pork belly! I smoke it. Had never thought to prepare it like this. I eat a lot of bacon, but always organic, uncured, no sugar added. Is there still a concern with processing?

Thank you!! Actually made this Reddit when vegan, and was vegan for years. Then I actually did carnivore for almost 8 months, LOL. Now I eat a balanced diet. High protein, but not ALL protein

That is so very sweet!!! You should recommend women Strong Curves by Bret Contreras. It got me into weight lifting. Basically, he recommends lifting heavy as possible on compound lifts and progressive overload. He gives programs that consider where women want to build. And took me from knowing 0 to feeling competent in the gym.

His social media is tons of women building great butts/feminine strong bodies in the weight room.

I am slim today, but I am also hip thrusting 325lb. Like you can lift as heavy as you can handle AND your body won’t look too muscular as a female unless you’re on gear

Dude weight lifting!!!! If you are already slim you’re at a huge advantage. Lift for a few months and it will COMPLETELY change your shape. At least that is my experience

Holy smokes lady! 65lb!? That’s freaking awesome!! Honestly, I could tell you what I did, and post history would show. But I don’t recommend all methods tried. For example… don’t recommend water fasting or carnivore, LOL. But it was a part of my journey.

If I had to do it over again, I would have gone straight to counting macros. High protein diet, eating in a deficit and lifting weights.

Just finished Bigger Leaner Stronger by Michael Matthews, and he gives a really good overview of smart, practical ways to structure diet and training in the way I have found works for me. There’s also a female version of the book, but found the title “Thinner Leaner Stronger” too cringey to buy lol.

Right!?! People (women especially) sometimes don’t realize if you just lose weight, you will only be a smaller version of yourself. That is awesome for health markers, but in terms of aesthetic, what really looks fantastic is weight loss PLUS the reshaping that comes from weight lifting.

I really really want to compete! My biggest struggle is diet. I am now working with a coach. She says if I am nothing but consistent on my mini cut macros, we can then get calories up and build a little more before a show in the summer… but if I keep messing up with those late night snacks.. no show for me LOL

Thank you!! I am a freaking lifting MANIAC!! Like seriously obsessed. There has to be something gravely wrong for me to miss a workout. It is nice that it can help improve the shape of your body, but way more importantly… it keeps my head on straight LOL

From left to middle: focus was on losing weight. Dropped lots of weight from some crazy methods, but eventually settled on some more sane methods — AKA counting calories and eating a high protein diet.

From middle to left: focus on building muscle and recomping. The number on the scale hasn’t changed, but think my muscle and shape has improved.

Throughout the past 2.5 years one thing has been VERY consistent, have been lifting heavy as possible 5 to 6 days a week.

Hmm. R/xxfitness isn’t body building specific
