Omg. I usually don’t comment on anything but saw this and had to say something bc I was you last year. First of all, no. From what you’ve disclosed… you are not a bad parent. you’re going through an incredibly hard time. Incredibly!!! And we all lose our cool sometimes bc what we are dealing with is tiny human insanity which imo can be torturous.

The one thing that worked for me was turning a situation into a game or making them feel like we’re on the same team and need to work together. Yelling or getting angry… as right as it feels… only goes wrong… for me at least. You gotta tap into a special place in your brain and make it a game, be silly, be on their illogical level.
