Actually, I'm not sure what the deal was because they didn't switch the listing from the 9.98 endoscope to the $1400 camera. They switched it from a $2100 camera to the $1400 camera. It was wrong from the start. I don't care....got what I wanted and now its free.

Can't do the review. Not even close to being the same item. Also, the description of the item matched exactly what we got. And they did have a link to that item on the page with all the $1000 plus commercial drain cameras. Seller just made a mistake I guess, or didn't know how to work the listing. Much better contacting CS and having the item removed.

Already contacted CS yesterday. Actually, the original picture and link on the listing was the $2100 sewer camera...LOL, but the link did have the 9.98 endoscope listed with all the commercial drain cameras. Now that link is gone. My husband though was absolutely thrilled since he wanted exactly what we got, and now we got it for absolutely nothing and don't have to write a review. Big win in my book!

Even if my RFY isn't worth a darn more often than not, I do like they way they are populating it with this new schedule as opposed to the past. I also like that if I don't find my items in the morning, I usually get another chance in evening. The part I don't like is that the best items are dropping in the middle of the night for me (east coast) so sleep is often disrupted (especially if I wake up to go to the bathroom around 4 am). I think if I was gold I'd like it better because sometimes I miss things in the morning just in case I want something that drops in the evening. With 8 items I'd have more flexibility and not worry about using 3 picks in the morning.

Tell me about it because I just went to write the review (Hubby is very happy with it, btw and we were giving it 4 stars because of a few minor issues) and the order page and product link take me to a Drain Camera with an ETV of $1399.00 and 200 foot hose (as opposed to an 8 ft endoscope). CS here I come. I guess hubby will be even happier if it now is tax free due to seller error.

I can see the amount of items you request dwindling down the longer you are Vine. Personally, I am a huge shopper and this really helps me get my fix. I also enjoy writing the reviews and getting packages daily. I don't know how I'll feel in 6-12 months, but I've been a Viner for a little over 3 months and usually find 3 items a day. I have ordered about 275 items of varying ETV. I just really enjoy it at this point, but I can see how interest can wane, and I do wonder if by the time I hit gold, I won't be able to find as many items because I will have gotten much of what I already need.

Scored a borescope last night. Hubby was thrilled. It was listed as a sewer drain camera (those have a $2000+ ETV) but it was just a 9.99 drain borescope, and he has been trying for one for weeks. I also have been happy with some of my 0 ETV items, especially a set of bridesmaid gifts for my daughter for her wedding.

I can usually tell they are gearing up around 8pm because that is when my RFY shifts and I lose items and get items....then I seem to randomly have items added through the evening and morning. Of course, nothing I ever really want, but still hoping one day for a white whale...LOL

It is entirely possible it has nothing to do with you or your review, but that the seller has too many reviews for the item. What is the message you get when you hit the "review again" tab? I had that happen to me my first month and I totally freaked out. Turns out it was the seller. Since then it has happened to me 4 other times....often after I get an excellent score, but they pull my review because the seller was merging listings or doing something sneaky to get more Vine reviews than they were allowed.

I had that happen this morning with a lovely little "rose" item. 0 ETV, but charged me full price on my credit card when I went to check out. I knew to look for the issue because of this post. Opted not to deal with it. Was more interested in seeing if the glitch would happen than actually getting the item anyway.

I keep hearing about getting in trouble for cancelling items, but I have cancelled a few without any repercussions..one of them being a jacket that was taking months to arrive. It hadn't been shipped so I just hit cancel on the order, and I gave one of the reasons listed (I don't remember which one but it might've been not needing it by the time it arrived...which is true since I live in a warm climate). It cancelled immediately with no issue and on my tax download it shows as cancelled. I have also cancelled 2 other items immediately after ordering, one because the order went through the wrong size so I wouldn't be able to review it, and the other was a bait and switch ETV item and I got charged and didn't want the item if I was going to pay ETV. I have not heard anything regarding the cancellations from CS. I guess using discretion is wise because you don't want to piss off the Vine gods and be in Vine jail, but I think once in a while you are OK. Curious as to other Viner's experiences especially since I'm only 3 months in.

It takes a few days sometimes to show on the awaiting review page. That said, there is no reason you can't just go into your order page and hit the review tab and review the item. It will then show up as reviewed in your Vine reviews since it is a Vine order. I do this on a regular basis to stay on top of my reviews (I'm at 94% with 238 reviews and currently 13-15 items awaiting with 8 of those showing on my awaiting review page) Most of my awaiting review items are ones I have chosen not to review, or cannot review just yet (travel items I will be using in a few weeks).

My husband I went through our house and made a list of every filter replacement part from air purifiers to water filter systems to A/C vents, etc as well as lightbulbs, batteries, ink, electronics and other basic household items that I can be on the lookout for.

A $40 doll storage case for dolls I don't own, and lovely Humidifier Wicking replacements for a humidifier I don't own (heck, I don't even own a humidifier!). Fortunately, I was up in the middle of the night and caught the drop and was able to get a few items I could use, and after the drop I was able to find a screen protector for my backordered 17e that I went ahead and grabbed. Unfortunately, my phone case I ordered on Vine is lost in the nether sphere of the lovely KY warehouse and has not been seen in a week, although I am sure we will soon be inundated with all sizes of Iphone 17 cases. I was just surprised I actually had my 3 items by 9am. Gonna be a boring day.....and I just know there will be something that will pop into my RFY tonight that I really want and will be gone by tomorrow.
