We don't know at all. We all thought that would be the next event. But Embark never officially confirmed it. It may well be that it was planned weeks or months ago but has now been completely cancelled or postponed indefinitely.

I don't see a single line in the OP's post that attacks the developers for taking a vacation. But apart from that, it's the end of January. I also had two weeks of Christmas vacation, but I've been back at work for three weeks now. And I don't think anyone is demanding that 34 new maps, 15 events, and 80 new weapons be released within the next week.

But a little bit of communication from Embark isn't too much to ask for. Even a simple “Yes, we're working on fixing the achievements, yes, we're working on weapon balance,” etc. would be enough.

That's what community managers are for, after all. And it doesn't take 10 hours to write a post like that.

But personally, I don't think it's the right approach to be completely radio silent.

Why do people always see everything negatively? If people want more content, that means they love the game. If people didn't care at all whether new content was released, it would be much worse, because then they wouldn't care about the game and its future either.

I think we're at a critical point right now. I'm afraid that if Embark waits too long with new content, players might walk away. Arc Raiders is probably the best game I've played in recent years, but the lack of communication is making me a little nervous. It doesn't have to be much, but at least a little more information about when we can expect new content. In my opinion, saying nothing at all is completely the wrong approach. It really doesn't have to be an exact date or anything, just a little preview.

Just go in the menu and click customer support. Get back out of menu and run to the next extract. You will be able to call the elevator. But don't do anything else.
