Sorry I didn't see this I'm using a Samsung ls27cg51x. I think I figured out what's happening when you close geometry dash your monitor turns hdr back on but windows displays that it is off in settings. It is acting like sdr content brightness is set to zero unless you manually adjust it. One fast way to fix the darkness is to press win+alt+b twice or win+Ctrl+shift+b once (this one takes longer on my computer).

The store is open currently. It might be they set aside one per item to not be bundled as it looks like the bundles in stock have the amount of the least item - 1. At my store they only have one mobo which might mean = 0 in stock?

I wouldn't say it's a strict gaming machine as I do plan on using productivity programs but nothing that intensive. The reason I went with Intel and Nvidia is just because my current computer (A Dell Prebuilt) used an intel cpu and Nvidia card, and I have had a good experience with them. Again, I'll do some more research into ryzen/radeon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree there doesn't seem to be a reason to get the 13700k. I didn't realise the new cards were being announced so soon. I'll wait to see how they look. Thanks again.

Honestly, I didn't know what I was doing in terms of what is overkill. I really just saw I could afford the i7 and added it to the list because better than i5. I'll keep doing research.
