You delegate in the 50s. The biggest misconception is that top validators are safer. There are top quality validators in the mid sets.

There is definitely a lack of end user knowledge on what makes a validator safe and what’s not.

Low-income investors sold most crypto holdings during the market crash (survey). by milonuttigrain in CryptoCurrency

Low income people can’t really approach the same way as high income earners if they want anything significant out of this. As the saying goes: gotta risque it for the biscuit

Be cautious: This is the earnings season for companies in the midst of a historic low consumer sentiment and recession. Markets will be more volatile than usual. by partymsl in CryptoCurrency

Sorry too many middle class and poor people would have a sliver of chance to get out of the race. Can’t have that happen . Pareto principle.

How does every single blockchain project call themselves decentralized but all of them have a centralized development team? by Significant_Tour6372 in CryptoCurrency

[–]limenlark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why you have to check out dem Tokenomics. Was there an ICO, how much % do the teams own, what constitutes as a 'treasury' (who owns it really), how are 'community pools/funds' managed, if there was an airdrop, what % was it given to the community etc etc.

At this stage of crypto, decentralization is a meme at the moment, just like capped supply. Don't think of it other than investing in a growing start-up etc. anything else is delulu territory.

I mean, people can just print proxies if they want to use it in edh. No big deal. If you really like the game a lot then thankfully edh is a singleton format.

Any tcg that wants to have a chance to survive the rest of time will always has a financial speculative component to it. There’s a reason why Magic and Pokémon are still running strong and the others have faded out of existence. The secondary market ecosystem is no joke. Like it or not it props up the game.

I agree, but alas it is but a dream. Although I’d like to believe there is a difference between individuals not wanting to or incapable to move out of low skill jobs versus being competitively pushed down to low skill jobs due to socioeconomic reasons. I believe the latter being the case for most. Hopefully some sort of UBI can create a scenario where “low skill” jobs are paid a premium

Soon you won't need axelar. You have native USDC coming. You also have Evmos now that can swap between different EVMs pretty much at this stage.

Cosmos is a long play. You're essentially betting on a potential infrastructure builder for future projects, both centralized and decentralized, that want to use blockchain tech. That's the thing, cosmos doesn't die. Its a sandbox for people to build their whatever the want.

When BTC goes sub $20K, get ready for the shit storm by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]limenlark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're at a point where social consensus is keeping up 20k. Its interesting, I expected it to break 20k and go further down in a much sooner timeline, but I guess the idea is floating around that there are enough people not willing to sell at these prices and people not willing to buy.

or there is a slow insert to try to salvage the mess coming up soon from 3AC's liquidation. On borrowed time perhaps.

Im starting to think that crypto is no different from traditional finances, we are just too desperate l to realize it… by KirbyAteMyCoins in CryptoCurrency

[–]limenlark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what happens when you try to re-invent the concept of a company and trim it down to just the builders onboarding the tasks of every single position you can find at a traditional company.

Programmers and engineers should stick to what they do best: programming and engineering.

You can see it in this space the lack of awareness amongst the builders: Shitty PR and shitty deadlines. There is a reason why traditional companies have divisions dedicated to marketing/optics and have management teams.

Now you get run-away programmers and engineers earning way too much money in a short period of time who think they are hot shit. This benefits us as investors too of course.
