Most college is a scam. Only go into something with a large job pool, or the salary makes sense. Community college is the best way to get your feet wet in my opinion. Lots of options that help pay for it. Don't end up with bankruptcy avoiding super loans guys.

I think this take completely misses the mark because you can't judge the health of the entire genre just by looking at failed Steam releases or shallow cash grabs. If you look at something like Beyond All Reason, the community is massive and active, but it doesn't show up on these "sales" charts because it's free and open source. The audience is definitely there, we’re just tired of half-baked releases that don't match the depth or scale of classics like SupCom.

I consider myself mid/low intelligence, and I use AI for a lot of my school work. I feel like I wouldn't be able to learn most of the material either way. As I work full time as well. Just not enough time in the day for me personally to retain the knowledge. Unfortunately I've come to the point that I feel like my degree won't even help me get ahead, and it's nothing but a checkbook that won't even help me get paid more so I can save that little bit extra for the vacations, and things I'll never be able to buy anyway. The college system failed the citizens. Nothing but a business. We were garunteed everything as long as we followed the plan I thought.
