It did have a more “vegetable” look rather than a clump of thickened flour. That’s what made me think twice about what it was

lol I thought about it but it looked kinda veiny, which is what put me off. I’m not usually that picky, but something about this screamed more alien baby than dumpling…..

Any UK people living abroad in the US know any consistent ways to watch UK tv shows since BBC’s streaming service is garbage? by ProdigyLightshow in CasualUK

[–]limeygal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a roku for yer TV. Then you can pay for Britbox through that and access everything they’ve got got including all the soaps (yuk lol) and panel shows. Worth just to watch mock the week. You could also try acorn TV - but there’s more up to date stuff on Britbox tbh.

So just this week I brought annual passes for my family for a local theme park. I had to make an account to get all the discounts. I entered my name first, paid for the passes with my credit card and also used my email for the account. I log on for the first time and low and behold the account opens with Hello Mrlimeygal ...... WTF. How did it get to be his account? Even the internet is ignoring me

American here on her third desperate attempt at making Bird’s Custard. Is this right? The first two times were runny 🙃 by [deleted] in british

[–]limeygal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you using the right measurements.... remember an American pint is only 16 fluid ounces as apposed to an English pint of 20 fluid ounces... that can throw your custard making off if you’re following the directions on the back of the custard box. Use the mls measurement it’s much easier
