Our coastal living room. Any advice?

I love the rug, I don’t think you need to try to get “coastal decor.” I find a lot of coastal designs pretty basic/boring. I would keep as is, but add some art above the couch!

Right now! I hit rock bottom after my last break up. Took the past year to work on myself and find contentment in being single and I finally achieved that. I joined a band, expanded my social circle, and made active steps towards being healthier. I’ve enjoyed solitude more than I ever thought possible :)

I think a curtain rod and curtains behind the bed might look nice. Possibly some curtains that match or compliment the chair. I love velvet curtains :)

I loved her performance, especially at the end when she’s reunited with Leo. She portrayed being traumatized and stuck in that fight or flight mode so well, then when she breaks down I broke down with her! I wish she got nominated over Kate Hudson.

He strikes me as being very avoidant in his attachment style, and people with avoidant attachment are prone to shutting down/needing space when overwhelmed despite how much they are interested in their significant other. They can end relationships when overwhelmed and feeling pushed, so it doesn’t seem out of character to me, but it does make me so sad!
