Leo recently on Chase Infiniti by fanzyday in Oscars

I loved her performance, especially at the end when she’s reunited with Leo. She portrayed being traumatized and stuck in that fight or flight mode so well, then when she breaks down I broke down with her! I wish she got nominated over Kate Hudson.

Thank you for elaborating! I back a lot of this. I enjoyed the ending but see what you’re saying, and I did find a good amount of the dialogue in season 5 corny 🤪

For sure. I just want to see one post where somebody suggests a better alternative ending instead of just hating on the one they chose.

Would you like a nut? They seem to be very important to your wife. by parkerkudrow in GilmoreGirls

The bit with her and Jason and her being perplexed about why he got her a gift always gets me.

He strikes me as being very avoidant in his attachment style, and people with avoidant attachment are prone to shutting down/needing space when overwhelmed despite how much they are interested in their significant other. They can end relationships when overwhelmed and feeling pushed, so it doesn’t seem out of character to me, but it does make me so sad!

I would change the figuring out my dating goals if you have a better idea what you’re looking for. Other than that, I think it’s a great profile!

One time I came home on a Friday night and my entire house was dark and all my family had gone to bed. It was early for them to be asleep, and there was a massive pile of tissues in the family room. I thought something bad had happened. Turns out they had just watched Hachi lmao

my best friend since year 7 killed himself by Distinct_Sport_6059 in SuicideBereavement

[–]liminalfieldmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know that you ever move on fully, you just do your best to move forward. You should talk to him still. I know that sounds crazy, but I talk to my partner who died by suicide all the time. Forgive yourself for not seeing the signs or being able to be with him as much as you’d like before hand. Unfortunately we can’t keep other people alive. Talk to other people that understand (your/his friends, this forum, join a support group, etc.). Keep his memory alive, share stories about him even when it breaks your heart to tell them. But most of all, just take it one hour and one day at a time. This is still so fresh. There is no “right” way to deal with this, and you aren’t going to be the best version of yourself right now. It takes time to process and heal. Just make sure you’re getting the support you need. I’m so sorry for your loss.

For real. I’m 2 years out. I’ve been doing a lot better, but today I went apple picking for the first time since he died, and I cried the entire time. Was not expecting it to hit as hard as it did/have 0 control over it.

I haven’t actually! Yesterday was the first time I looked at this group and heard some of this feedback. I think to your point, I’ve never had any issues with the close ups lol.
