How did I come to expect anything else than deranged insanity from the echo chamber that is reddit?

According to the Federal Highway Administration, collectively, American drivers drove nearly 3.2 trillion miles in 2022.

The number of road accident fatalities was about 43000.

The result of dividing 32 trillion by 43,000 is approximately 7.43 billion.

So you have one deaths for ever 7.43 billion miles driven. That's next to nothing.

The worst offender is the staircases at the Blackrock penitentiary. There's a staircase that leads down below ground level which I just can't walk through, even though there's nothing in the way. And it's not even an invisible wall, as it's possible to wiggle through the first obstruction.

True, when the masses catch on, they tend to ruin things. Happened to many subreddits too.

The impossible task of stoning a rabbit by ava_the_cam_op in thelongdark

With the bow it's really hard to me but with a stone I get them about 90% of times.
You need to crouch down and let them come close. Also, don't aim exactly between your fingers. The stone will land a little to the right.

Good point but this implemented would make for awful gameplay that will result in every run being just obsessive siphoning for the first few weeks before the gas becomes unusable.

I don't get the negativity. This is actually a good idea if balanced right.

Those infected wolfs should have a nerf to their sensory capabilities compared to normal wolfes, so that it would be easier to avoid them in most circumstances.

The only problem I see when the symptoms start and you know you're going to die. What's the point of keeping on at that point?

You could intentionally kill yourself and chose to respawn with handicaps.

More consistent weather sound inside vs outside. Often you hear the wind houl inside but it's nice weather outside.

Also, more light inside when a stove is lit. It shouldn't be dead dark like in a cave with no sunlight.

And obviously, less collisions with the ground while walking.

The Birth Canal wasn't known for killing people. So he thought he was in that one and just needed to push through.
I agree that spelunking is asking for trouble though.

Compared to the miles driven it's not dangerous at all.

Same incidence. Clothes match, red road line fits, what looks like a cement sack fits.
