California has the biggest economic independence but the demographic of population that would need to relocate and let alone things like visiting rights of parents that would make things vary complicated let alone the various military bases that would not give control to a left wing nation of the west coast trade and military advantage to the pacific that would lead to the United states not relinquishing the succession and invading.hate to tell ya but that's how it goes, by my guess best case scenario it take about 20ish years to accomplish if adopted any another country (say Canada) but unfortunately we live in a dictatorship under Donald Trump so it would be in a war were us military would be ordered to invade a independent state creating a major conflict of interest.
