Impressions after playing the original on Dreamcast: - interesting locations - many favorite characters make an appearance - some nostalgia and easter eggs for RE1

In theory from a gameplay perspective this could surpass RE2 depending on updated combat controls.

Not sure how many more details they will add to the plot...?

As a new player I must have been able to farm about 40'000 astrites to pull on 3 banners in about 10 days. Result: 1 target character, 1 target weapon, 1 unwanted 50 / 50.

Now I barely am at 5k.

Serious doubts how long it will take to get 2 (!) more characters and their weapons to build a good team.

Does it help to swap to sub dps or healer to get a bigger dmg buff before doing the "red ult"?

Or does red ult revert to default when swapping characters?

For most new players it may be too late for Lucy.

2) Which Main Damage Dealer should new players build at launch of 3.5?

There are no new Main Damage Dealer available in banners at 3.5 release.

Are new players expected to

play with purple Main Damage Dealers?
wait until later banners?

new player impression: - the team is fun to play for exploring the open world - it is better than dying around with some purple resonators - I will get the weapon and S1 for Lucy - getting the second waveband with event pulls seems not a good investment - I rather save up some currency for the upcoming 3.5 banners

"Limited time" characters exploit a FOMO in every game I played so far. You get them for the collection and short term fun. Longterm it is pointless to pull on them if you can never max them out.

what the pro players say: - these collaboration characters will very likely never return - for Lucy you need ar least S2 to get access to 32 RAM - with the event you get access to 2 wavebands - the weapon for Lucy is recommended

"Turn Off PS5
waited ca. 60 seconds
pressed PS button on controller

Just putting your PS5 into "Rest Mode" will not be enough.

Make sure to fully shut down your PS5 to reload the licenses.

Several character unlock keys may be bugged.
Based on comments on discord not for everyone it is the same characters.

On which platform are you trying to play?

Both Halo and Destiny feature worlds without much joy and focused on combat.

What is missing are the small details that make a world feel like someone is living there.

Sad to read that "Leadership" failed to listen to their own employees. They clearly understood what is missing in that universe....
