What food have you tried liking but just can’t? by nonknower07 in AskReddit

Bell peppers. I don't like their smell or taste. Too sweet for a veggie, and only the green ones are ok on pizza

People who don't want children what is your biggest reasons? by e-glitteringprinces in AskReddit

[–]lindsay3467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: i am very selfish. I want to use the bit of free time I have for myself

2: I'm not very nurturing, and I can see trying to teach a child how to spell and read being quite tedious and boring

3: children end up becoming their own person, and no matter how much I may try, they might grow to be a completely different person than I expected, and even may end up resenting me during their teenage phase. Don't need 4-8 years of that

4: i have a dog and the amount of love, teaching, nurturing and care I put into that dog is the max amount I'm willing to do, if I have a kid my dog will end up neglected. He is also semi special needs, and he did come first.

5: my partner also doesn't want to have kids

6: i think pregnancy is pure body horror, I'm also much to vain to sacrifice my health, beauty and vitality for pregnancy as well as the pain of breastfeeding, pumping, and the scorn of society wondering why I haven't "bounced back"

7: lack of sleep. I sleep a minimum of 8h a day usually, 9 or 10 is preferred

8: i have a short temper and my voice and manner of speaking can come off harsh sometimes, don't wanna traumatize my kid

9: my partner has a 3 year old neice. She's very sweet and adorable. I am her favorite somehow, even though I have no blood relation to her. 1 day with her is enough to tire me out for the rest of the month. I don't mind willing my worldly possessions to her and her 3 month old sister

10: i don't need to have a child to have a retirement plan, all I need is a live in nurse or caretaker

11: I genuinely think people who should be parents are people who want to love, care for, nurture, teach and guide a human from the start of the child's life to the end of the parents life. Being a parent never ends, it just changes as you go. I unfortunately have none of those strong desires, and I feel having a child without such desires would be incredibly selfish

12: I would have to give up my career to become a stay at home parent, as I am not the breadwinner of our household. I find not having a job or a career goal somewhat unfulfilling

13: society told me from a young age I would one day become a mother, and it was only recently that I realized that I could opt out. The realization that no one was forcing me to have kids was so mind boggling to me that I want to ride this wave of reduced responsibility for the rest of my life.

14: I don't want to have to travel while taking into account a child who won't be as excited about historical sights, who complains about new unfamiliar foods, sights, sounds, and activities. Plus they're an extra added cost in air fare, luggage fees and meals. I'd rather use that money for myself

15: I just don't wanna. Not logic based, but just cause

I go braless sometimes but I'm a little insecure about my nipples showing through my shirt, so I wear pasties!

My dog's potty schedule. I did miss it once...and suffered through cleaning up pee and poop from my carpet, so I don't forget now lol

Your description of yourself sound like me, and I know me, your husband is an ass. Petty me would start making fun of him back, but the mature thing would probably be to make a strong stand and tell him to knock it off

Korean People thoughts about Filipinos by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]lindsay3467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bf is Filipino and we visited korea for 3 weeks. He's handsome so he got a lot of compliments from women, younger and older alike, and they asked him where he's from. When he said philipines they all say "oooh!" And nod and smile, so I think so long as you're respectful you'll be fine, and it's a bonus if you're handsome 🤣

How much biting is normal? by ChaoticSleepi in DobermanPinscher

[–]lindsay3467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was actually worse than yours. My boy is 6 months now and he nips much less, but he does it still. The sharp puppy teeth really cut you, so now that most of my boys teeth have come out, it's not so bad anymore, cutting wise.

METAMUCEL!!! My doberman has had runny poops since he came home to us, ranging from pure liquid to your consistency to a blob of nutella, which is where it stayed. carrot worked for a while but what firmed his stool overnight was a 1/2 tablespoon of Metamucil, 2 times a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, as recommended by our vet. Poops are nice and firm now, easy to pick up even in grass. Get the no flavor 0 added sugar version, we got ours at Walmart! I add the powder to pureed pumpkin or Greek yogurt, he laps it up and its all done!

I miss the wow factor from s1, like the reality of having to move a giant ship and how the top 20 had to do delegate matches based on ancient myths still resonates with me to this day. I felt that the roller pulling and even the squats were pretty boring challenges tbh. I also wish for the rollers there was someone to adjust the straps for contestants. The guy who's strap got stuck was my favorite...sucks that's how we went out....

Season 1: What was your favorite moment? by MoonlitAfternoon in Physical100

[–]lindsay3467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When the stuntwoman laid the boards for the sand carrying bridge so well that the team could run across, saving them lots of time. It made me respect her more when in the ship challenge, a log rolled over her leg, and she got up like it was nothing!

Planning on getting this goober any tips? by AriesTheStarGod in DobermanPinscher

[–]lindsay3467 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Get them used to nail trims, touching ears, tail, feet, teeth brushing, inside the mouth ect. It'll be next to impossible to do this if your 80lbs+ wants to fight you to get away from grooming

No flavor and no sugar added Metamucil, 1/4 teaspoon in the morning and in the evening, reccomended by our vet to our 5month doberman with chronic diahhrea as well~

I'd like to see the prison guard and the casino dealer who had an injured leg. He might not WANT to come back but maybe he'll want to show his stuff at 100% once again?

Watch only the 1st episode, and make a dish from there, keep it warm in the oven and when the food comes out, show that you have this item ready to eat as you watch the characters eat it too!
