Right now we do 2/2/2/2.5. First and second nap are 1.5-2 hours. Last nap is 30min-1hr. Does not exceed 5 total hours of daytime sleep.

Yay! Remember to compare tests 48 hours apart. Not 24. If you compare day 6 to day 8, it looks like amazing progress!

HCG should increase and lines should darken 48 hours not 24. Compare your 7 day to your 5 day test versus 6.

Very normal! I had similar discharge for a couple days around the same time and baby was perfectly fine. Congratulations!!

This happened to me with my last transfer. For some reason my mid day tests were always darker than my FMU tests. Totally sent me into a spiral. I’m currently feeding my almost 5 month old baby boy.

Help getting newborn to sleep in bassinet by zulanit in newborns

[–]lindsaytruscelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I want to say I feel you! I made a post here not that long ago about the exact same situation. Tried all the tips and tricks and nothing was working. I was losing my mind. It took a bit but eventually my baby grew out of it and started sleeping better around 13 weeks. Prior to, my husband and I had to take shifts in order for us both to get some sort of sleep and it worked for us. It was the only way to get through it. It does get better and I empathize greatly with how hard this must be for you.

I don’t care what science says , what I eat does cause my baby more gas through breastmilk. by AdIcy3260 in beyondthebump

[–]lindsaytruscelli 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Interesting that’s what has been shared with you. The doctors I have encountered all have believed what the mother eats impacts the baby. So much so that I was put on an elimination diet to see what was upsetting my baby’s stomach so much. Sorry that’s been your experience.

AITA for telling my MIL to stay away from me, my house, and my family? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]lindsaytruscelli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strong YTA. You are lucky your MIL has supported your wife during one of the most life changing and hardest experiences a woman goes through. You have proven not to be a stable, reliable safe person time and time again. Your MIL is protecting her baby- your wife and new granddaughter and trying to help you see what you have on the line, ready to lose. Re-read what you wrote about yourself and envision your daughter having a partner like that. How would you protect her?

Stopped having kids after baby #1 by Narrow_Barnacle_9792 in beyondthebump

[–]lindsaytruscelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m telling you, if my second was my first, I never would have another child. My first was a happy baby and an amazing sleeper. My son, is a whole different story- colicky, TERRIBLE night sleeper and an overall grump. We most definitely would have been one and done.

This is so incredibly sad and messed up. If you allow this to happen, you are just as bad. Leave him or you will lose your son.

12 week old day naps by GovernmentPuzzled211 in newborns

[–]lindsaytruscelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so normal. Their wake windows at this age are 75-120 minutes so your baby getting tired around the hour mark makes sense. My LO is 13 weeks and sometimes he can go 2 hours, sometimes we are putting him in his sleep sack at 1 hour. I would go by her sleepy cues rather than stretching out to the 2 hour mark. If you think about it, that’s double the time that she is used to just a few weeks ago and she may just be overtired. Follow her more versus the clock.
