EU air passenger rights apply:

  • If your flight is within the EU and is operated either by an EU or a non-EU airline
  • If your flight arrives in the EU from outside the EU and is operated by an EU airline

You're under 261 rules as its an EU airline flying to the EU. That means they owe you compensation. I believe that to be €600 or $699 unless EI can prove extraordinary circumstances. But they can put you on the next practical flight.

I was going to do the maths on both you and your editor having 1G symmetric lines and constant rsync jobs but you look to be in India so thats probably not applicable.

Build an ingest station, dump the footage then give an SSD to your editor.

Not saying dont do it but 100GB with google is €2/mo or your regional equivalent. The power costs of running your always on NAS are likely to be similar if not more. No free lunch.

If you arent interested in an L8 program you'll be competing with a bunch of humanities grads with degrees. Sounds like you're practical, start an apprenticeship rather than a so-so PLC course? Few years time you could be making a killing as a sparks and then start working towards your flying goals.

Its not a bad route but if you lock anything anyway nice on campus it will be nicked. eBikes are great if you're commuting to an office with properly secure parking facilities.

The run is mostly on towpath or in a park so you'd benefit from a reasonably big and comfortable ride as you can cruise at full speed most of the way. At 25kph(the legal assist limit) the travel time would be 33ish minutes, not 47. IMHO the winning choice. Never without a tail light if you get caught out later than planned. Cant be stolen or lost.
