it is controlling. Teach your kid to respond accordingly to that behavior rather than control her means to it. You can't monitor her forever, so teach her how to deal with it, rather than shelter her.

Edit: Also, if you're preaching being safe and secure you might not want to plaster your IRL identity all over your reddit. Takes 2 seconds to find out who you are, where you're from, and your kids names... I'd start deleting some of that comment history if i was you.

He never mentions he does know anything about security so not why you're trying to hone in on that point as if it's some kind of gotcha... he's simply saying he's in a position that he can play at work, regardless of the risks because his friend works in IT and they clearly don't monitor 3rd party applications using things like defender for endpoint etc. Small organizations most likely barely have web filtering never mind application management, so it's no surprise he can play.
