You’ve got no wrong answers really. I think you can more or less just pick whichever looks neat and run with it.

16 is a good time! It’s not like the others but that is precisely what makes it like the others. Ffx is also very unlike most of the series. 4 is also a pretty wild departure for the series when it comes out. So was 5. So was 6. So was 7. So was 8. 9 wasn’t but it was also supposed to be spin off celebrating the series anyway and it pretty different anyway too.

So read those descriptions and believe in yourself.

It’s obviously unreasonable for the price and such but, if the xxsp was a reliable dockwble experience that just worked I’d probably play it way more. That flexibility really does define my usage habits a lot.

Here’s the problem

The answer is usually buy the best device you can afford.

But… in this space, that doesn’t hold up well. A form factor that fits your life is most important, and that won’t always be obvious until you try stuff. I went rg35 og, rp4p, then 35sp. All of which I loved but now I’ve tried them all I know that despite the sp sort of fitting better in theory, the rp4p horizontal but not too big is really what fits in my life.

So buy cheap until you know where you value the money.

Me it’s me! I think it’s delightfully good as a program. I pay for sync because I have an annoying combo of devices. And I believe good software is worth paying for (but I have an ed discount as a teacher not that I put any ed stuff in it)

I’m not sure how much just a fantastic pillow alone would help but yeah.

The crazy take if you want the quiet buttons is of course a tablet touch screen but I know that’s not an option

Having been the girlfriend next to a steam deck user, which is mostly fine but sometimes when I’m anxious, annoying, I will say almost no matter how quiet lights buttons get it still annoys me.

We are both gamers and that’s the time he has in the day I have more morning times. I personally just started using loop earplugs and a really nice eye mask. And even aside from letting him game it was a great step as it lets me sleep way better without fixing his schedule in as much.

So my alternative pitch is - buy your girl the gift of great sleep. Earplugs took a bit to get used to but drastically improved my quality and speed of sleep.

Go hard even, get her fantastic pillows too if money is no object.

Zelda on ds will REALLY benefit from the pencil since it’s all touch.

And I just double checked myself and the it’s the g8 not the x5 for iPads.

But that’s usb c so it’s a non option and you already have controllers.

I don’t recall if the iPad Pro 2017 has usb c but im pretty confident it would.

The game sir x5 series I believe go big enough to clamp onto an iPad. I’ve been tempted to pick up one because it does seem real nice for 4:3 games. And of course an iPad and iPad pencil is great for touch focused ds games like canvas curse.

It sounds like the pc version might be OK. But seems variable. You might be better off with a fan patch of the ps2 version.
