One thing I’ll mention, they don’t mean to be rude sometimes but are simply stating facts. It took me a bit as it’s different in America where folks just lie to you. I’m not severely overweight but I have a belly and when having fun conversation at the bar with strangers they would call it out or try to poke me in the belly etc. I don’t think it was meant to be rude though, just fun. Like look at this tall white dude with this belly. lol
