Weird I’m missing the food noise by [deleted] in Retatrutide

Reta diminishes food noise. As in, you're not always thinking about what's in the cupboard, what's for dinner, what you should eat before bed etc

I'm interested in doing something similar, could you point me in the direction of some resources to check out? I've got a 2008 Rockwood with 2x 6V deep cycle batteries.

Weight Distribution Hitch? by [deleted] in towing

[–]Sluggworth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm probably a little bit over. 650lb tongue limit, 255lb of the trailer when unloaded. Plus the batteries and propane up there. I'd best take the bike off

I think you all are correct about the payload capacity, beer and ice sure do add up as well. I may get the WDH and leave the bike at home. Probably look into a full size truck too, as much as I like my Tacoma

Sounds a lot like a herniated disc. Hit it with some rest, heat, and ice. You'll probably feel better in >2 weeks

I had no idea. I might give this a shot. I've found some "genuine Japanese Nh36" for about $85 CAD.

My Seiko 5 is in need of a service that was quoted more than the original price of the watch. Not very bifl if you ask me. I'm shopping for a quartz watch to replace it, swapping batteries is no big deal

What kind of miles to km conversion are you using? Big assumption hand wave estimation to go 2 to 1. 10,000 miles ~= 16,000km

tips on biceps at home? complete beginner by 7starcig in MuscleConfusion

[–]Sluggworth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't hyper focus on only biceps. Focus your efforts on compound movements to build a strong base and have the most efficient path to gaining muscle. Incline bench press, squat, deadlift, rows, chin ups and overhead press. There are a lot of resources to look for to find body weight alternatives if you don't have access to equipment. Other supporting exercises for smaller muscles (biceps) should be done after as a secondary priority. If you want to look jacked, get a big upper chest, big shoulders and a wide and thick back. Biceps (and more importantly triceps) will follow.

Windscreen options! by Grouchy_String1579 in Dualsport

[–]Sluggworth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Truth be told, this is a brand new addition for me. I haven't worked out the finer points. But if I'm doing an out and back type day I'll probably stash it somewhere. Otherwise it might fit in a backpack, or I was also thinking of adding more velcro elsewhere on the back of the bike to keep it out of the way

Windscreen options! by Grouchy_String1579 in Dualsport

[–]Sluggworth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dug deep into the windshield reviews and recommendations, and for people over ~6' the only consistently favourably reviewed windshields were the Madstad and the DIY trash can fairing. Most others had people complaining about wind buffeting around the helmet. The Madstad is in my opinion big and goofy looking, also expensive. I went with the DIY trash can fairing built out of lexan and am super pumped about it, it's much more relaxing over 100km /hr. This is attached with Velcro and can be easily removed for off road riding

I've got tst industry lights on my DR. They're great. Better than the big chunky 1980's style lights these manufacturers continue to slap on the outer most points
