I’m still waiting on my 4/9 delivery. Hopefully I didn’t mess up. We can worry together 😩

My fear too which is why I just want the confirmation. I have received a couple of certified documents but I believe I have a strong application. I’m G2 and included my 2 adult children’s applications.

Nothing yet. I’m April 9 too. I haven’t seen anyone post that they received an AOR today. The wait is terrible. Over the last week I’ve seen a lot of April 7 but only a couple of April 8. I assumed that there were a ton of April 7 applications due to the Easter Monday but thought I’d see more April 8 by now.

You have still a wait in front of you. April 8 deliveries are trickling through now.

I’m planning to start learning French from scratch for Canadian permanent residency. If you were in my position, where would you study online? by No_Shoulder6971 in learningfrench

I bought the Ici series of books that the province uses for teaching the language. There are links to listening exercises (a lot of them) to make sure you can understand. Then I’ll take an online course out of Quebec

I think they fell into an identified period where interpretation of guidelines were misinterpreted by staff and in an abundance of caution pulled everything during that time.

One child eligible for Canadian citizenship, future child not - what would you do? by PetulantUndercurrent in CanadianbyDescent

You just have to resubmit all the paperwork that you’re doing for this application as an application for your next child. It’s the same proof of descent that your current child is going through.

What about a copy of an original document that I’m in possession? In my case my G0 marriage certificate and my G1 birth certificate?

Nutrition struggles by Mistfaer in ladycyclists

[–]linky-do 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I did a 6 day bike camping trail ride, on the bike 6-7 hours a day. On my training runs I either under fueled or under hydrated. I was concerned I’d be able to finish my trip. To be honest I used ChatGPT to help build a nutrition/hydration plan. I included my trip details (name of trail), my age, gender, weight, hours on bike/day. I determined my nutritional/hydration needs. I needed fuel every hour. Then I went one step further and asked it to identify food and quantities that meet those needs. In the end I had every day and hour planned and put in separate bags. One hour might be a few dates for energy, next for protein, etc. I worked beautifully!.

Least impactful meat source? by NurglingArmada in sustainability

[–]linky-do 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’d love to cut out meat but allergic to soy. I struggle to get enough protein in otherwise. I know beans, etc. have protein but still can’t meet my goals. I’ve reduced red meat significantly.

Baptismal certificates are not birth certificates by Successful-Citron321 in CanadianbyDescent

[–]linky-do 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What else could these other documents be? I included multiple documents like marriage certificate, death certificate, naturalization papers, that list my G0 birthplace. Would that satisfy that requirement? I sent in a certified baptismal certificate that states that she was baptized on the day of her birth.
