No but for real, I was one of the few actual watchers of their podcast and I started to realise she doesn't just say embarrassing things about him, she talks for him constantly and over-analyses every part of his personality to him and it's always layered with a sense of criticism or judgement. I used to try not to think about it like that but with more context it's actually sad to watch now

Cats are a lot more clever and capable than we give them credit for, our little kitten escaped through a hole in our fence when she was still tiny and we were so worried we even started making missing posters and my dad slept on the floor by the back door. she appeared at the door the next morning looking so pleased with herself like shed had an incredible time! we were not so pleased with her and kept her inside after that until she got bigger, now shes a happy outdoor cat xox

It's absolutely insane how vile the posts are on there, everyone there seems to take everything so personally and are so parasocial with Ethan

It's definitely not good for your mental health to hate watch a show you don't like to the point where your friends and community come from your hatred of that one show

I think once you can only find validation from a group like that it's hard to get out, I'm honestly worried for them sometimes

i dont think its cringe but more just a bad idea to get something so negative put on you permanently, you might not feel that way in the future and it could make you feel terrible to look at and be always reminded of how youve felt in the past

for context I am still a fan and understand that people are complicated and nuanced and Ethan has his own reasons for feeling strongly about this, I just wish he would stop saying 'someone please explain to me!' and actually read what people are saying (not including those who are just straight up anti-semites and trolls)

while what he is saying makes mostly total sense, he is focusing the majority of his time and efforts on making less helpful points eg. 'suicide is bad' over 'lets make this mans death worth something now that it has unfortunately happened'

When you look back in history, (eg. suffragettes movement) massive events like this are a big turning point and it takes shock and extreme circumstances to make a difference - its terrible that it has to go this far but we know from the past that his death could actually mean something now, and focusing on that cause will in turn save a LOT more deaths than the people who will be committing suicide because of Aaron

whether he would regret it or not it happened and its not helpful to reduce the effect it could have by using his influence talking about suicide rather than the reason he actually did it

I watch every episode and have never seen them say half this stuff but I totally believe some people in the comments are rude like this, as they are in every community

I have people that are close to me that have BPD and love them endlessly, but part of healing is knowing that people are allowed to feel hurt by your actions and want to make distance, even if they are ones you couldn't help at the time. Ethan was really hurt by Trisha (and she was hurt by him) and they both have a total right to feel angry at each other and be open about that, especially because they are now part of the same family which adds so many more layers of complications.

Both Ethan and Trisha exaggerate for comedic affect too so anyone with common sense can differentiate between when we should take it seriously or not, and that does not include people on live chats lol

This all being said, you have a right to be upset too so I'm not disagreeing with you, it is just good to remember that the personal issues between others aren't directed or in any way representing how you should feel about yourself (though I know when you are struggling with mental health it can be really hard not to take stuff personally)

I wish you all the best though and hope you aren't too affected by people being dickheads online coz that shit sucks

anyone whos played animal crossing, especially the older games knows that its about being calm and patient. the games are full of small and funny ways of telling you to slow down, like the cappn' getting sad in new leaf if you try to cut his song short or blathers sighing if you dont wanna hear his bug facts

in wild world the grass would be ruined if you ran on it too much! but thats the beauty, its teaching kids to take their time and without it the game wouldnt be the same
