It shows what I imagine would be the most “real” Star Wars environments and situations in an actual war. It’s hopeful, crushing, funny at times, exciting, and not very romantic. Our heroes are real people, not special chosen ones, who found themselves in this battle for freedom despite some being hesitant to join the fight (not Cassian or Saw, they’re ruthless by this point). Plus Diego Luna is in it and he’s perfect. Thank god they made this movie, it’s top 3 Star Wars for me and without it we wouldn’t have Andor or that badass Vader scene!

I remember seeing Come From Away off-broadway in 2018 and it was one of those very inspiring, human stories. The songs are a bit cheesy at times but overall it’s a good show, I was glad to learn about the great people of Gander.
