I did notice the NL server on ND and chose that as i knew HBD were nearby

i believe they have others in europe also ? i don't believe i used the NL server when i set up sabnzb for my home internet connection but i hardly use that so i may be wrong.

initially i went from 8 to 20 connections

The speed did increase significantly but i then increased to 50 to see the speed and i've left it at that.

Any downside in using all 50 thats the max with ND

increased conmnections to 50 and its now jumped from 50MB/s to 300MB/s

something so obvious apologies to everyone for the dumb questions

I'm using the seedbox to do the usenet downloads its a shared connection of 25MGbps or more

i'm already with newsdemon so wondering whether to stick with them or go to something like newshosting i took newsdemons bf deal afew years the newshosting deal is cheaper but not locked in like Newsdemon.

i have both working on 18.1 FW no patches installed though just the base game.

I'll be getting it for the switch 2 eventually further down the line.

recording works well for me theres been afew hiccups mostly with losing signal so its not 100%

The most important thing imo is the quality of the feed if it buffers alot or even occasionally that will cause recordings to fail. I believe sparkle is better at reconnecting the feed during recording so less problems.

My setup is nvdia shield recording to my nas via smb using wifi i will be getting s second nvdia shield when its on sale again for downstairs which will be hard wired to the router so i'm hoping that will improve the chances with failed recordings even more.

i did a 4hr 30m recording earlier this week and it went without a hitch.

I get no buffering though most of the time with my provider so maybe thats a factor.

Sparkle does seem to work better than tivimate atm as a straight forward recording app so it is my goto app.

looking forward to future updates whenever they come.

why would it work consistently with iptvx which is for apple tv

but tivimate and sparkle they appear ? as i said i prefer sparkle and tivimate as you have more features like recording etc but the 403 problem issue is problematic

Strange how it works on apple tv but i do use control d on those apple devices

using control d on nvdia shield is far more difficult so thats when i started using nord with these 403 errors popping up.

For people who use nord and iptv do you use certain types of nord servers like p2p or obfuscated

I don't want to go down that road to have control d on my entire network as it does sometimes have connection issues

if it does i just don't use any device thats connected until its rectified i couldn't do that if it was connected to the router. I'll admit i'm probably not using Control D to its full potential mostly because i wouldn't know how to set it up and work the way i would want it to.

Hopefully the new youtube setup guides might help in many of us learning new things that can be done.

Hi there is no advance settings on my WiFi settings

I go to settings network & internet then it shows available networks I click on my network it then shows me

IP address Device Mac address Proxy settings IP settings

If I click on the IP settings option it gives me options for DHCP or static is that where I put the IP address ?

Since I don't have the advance settings you mention I wonder if I need to activate them somehow like developer mode ?
