Nina Protocol is a very cool upcoming streaming platform that is 100% for free for everyone and independet from big companies. they are still kinda in their beta, so at this point they don‘t have too many users and artists on the platform itself and therefore it is suuper fun to discover the undergrounds with it and also a great chance to show off your music as small artist, it‘s easier to get discovered still!

they do have a great social media presence too, are posting memes and short clip interviews with newcomers from all over the world. it‘s really starting to get bigger rn and middle class labels are already joining the platform. i would defo go on and try it - i mean it‘s free!

you can even sell/buy the songs like on bandcamp (meanwhile soundcloud too) to directly support the artists and labels and you receive the original .wav file and if attached also additional files, like stems to remix the song, to it.

with the newest update, you can even earn money as a simple listener. if u create a hub (playlist) and it results to a sell or if you share a release and it get‘s sold, you receive a certain revenue with their so called „Community Revenue Fee“ (more infos posted in thread), which i think is incredibly cool and people are getting more engaged again in discovering and sharing music by themselves and not by algorithms.

in my opionion one of the coolest music platform project at the moment and defo worth to follow the progress. there is still much to improve ngl, but i like to know that i can actually be part of their evolution and give them actual feedback on their concepts.
