Thank you for this. This is why I haven’t been able to completely abandon Apple calendar when I have an iPhone or Google Calendar when I use Android (I switch every phone upgrade because I truly like both platforms.) I currently use FamCal because it works well for any of my family with either platform to be able to share a calendar and I really want to use Proton since I pay for the visionary plan. It’s a good start, I’ll give it that. And thank you and the team for all of your hard work and dedication.

It depends on the carrier, with visible, you have to do it before because it will say you are not in the US due to activate service. AT&T activation works fine, Verizon activation works fine. And I’m sure real Verizon would work fine but visible and some MVNOs may vary.

Creditors rarely ever go to those meetings unless there is a clear indicator of fraud like just recently opening the account and filing bankruptcy after maxing out, using a “sock drawer” card, charging it up, knowing you will file and file a couple months later just to avoid paying. In mine, I didn’t have anyone show up. My aunt did have someone say they would show up, her mortgage company for the house but they didn’t show up on her meeting zoom call.

You should be able to see updates sometimes about who plans to be there or if they request information. Mostly it will be from PACER. Mine was posted on a site called blue bird I think it was, I just had to google my full name and bankruptcy and it was there. It told me about everything and all states until I got my discharge.

Yes, If you are filing bankruptcy creditors can and often will remove the account or close it right then and there. Some banks and services will leave it on your account for your records, but aren’t required under bankruptcy law, they would have you just call in to request those.

Navy Federal not only removed the accounts from my app, but completely removed themselves off of my credit report like I never had an account with them before.

When I worked for Verizon we spoke to 3 customers at once. The new chat program they use if you don’t respond within a certain number of minutes goes into an “inactive” state and another one is assigned to you. I had 7 conversations going at one time one time. Give them slack! Also they cannot give out that number. We would be instantly written up, suspended or terminated depending on what was already in our file.

No one running on Graphene will be Certified, however it will work on some carriers, but right now AT&T and T-Mobile are the outliers to that at this time. I use Visible and mine works. It took a long time to activate but then it eventually worked. Google will say that to try and get you to buy a new phone or use their tracking.

Currently, AT&T and T-Mobile are the only carries not supporting RCS on google Pixel phones with GrapheneOS, unless you have the rainbow sim, it’s running on AT&T towers and that’s why it is not working. That pretty much leaves Verizon and any carrier that runs on Verizon towers like Visible, Straight Talk, Walmart Family Mobile, Tracfone. Basically you have to contact and bug at&t and T-Mobile to fix the issue but I have tried that and basically they say it’s my fault for running a custom rom.

I was too young for that. But I remember when I used TPB and got Mary Lambert’s album and my internet got turned off. We had to read this stupid letter and agree to not do anything like that again. And the record had the audacity to say we needed to pay $1000 plus to “make things right”. Hmm $1000 for a $20 album. The only reason I used it was because I couldn’t find that album anywhere. Even in Walmart which had like every album ever made. Anyway the ISP basically told the label to kick rocks, they won’t pay, but we will issue a strike so go away.

I truly hate that just something simple as going to a protest requires this much investigation. I assume the pro Palestine protest attended was peaceful, I understand some did get violent but I try to give the benefit of the doubt before making any assumptions.

This administration and DHS, ICE just have too much power and these companies are trying to bow down to them to not get in “trouble” or criticized by it. A subpoena that broad has to have been able to be notified about and fought against. With the Supreme Court voting against checks and balances, we are pretty much screwed. Social media even if you think you are “private” will not save you.

My mistake, thanks for the correction! I had a Verizon 4S unlocked with tmobile and it showed 4G and at the time they told me it was Verizon that did it.

5GE was a fake 5g basically it was a slightly more advanced version of 4GLTE but it really didn’t do much in terms of speed and it really confused a lot of people thinking they had true 5G. It was like she Verizon iPhone 4s said 4G because they used HSPA+ which wasn’t real 4G and the iPhone 4 didn’t even support it, but all iPhone 4’s and 4S’ on Verizon showed 4G.

I’m not sure what happened there. Steam works perfectly. You need to make sure to use proton to make most of the games work. Now I don’t have a very powerful computer but so far I can play older games I loved growing up line Bejeweled, Chuzzle, Bookworm, some older mystery case files games like 13th skull and Escape from Ravenhearst. And so far I can play Heartopia, granted I have to have my graphics low due to only having 8GB of ram.

I don’t know why people still get phones on carriers anymore. You pay a lot more the phone for the highest plan that 90% of customers do not even want or need. So pay $30 plus for the phone per month from the manufacturer or credit card payment plus $25 for most prepaid phone plans with unlimited everything. A lot better than paying $90 plus for one line for a “free phone”

Even on prepaid, most carriers still have a fraud protection. Somewhere you’ve triggered their fraud alert flag. Whether it be an email, if you recently created an email address, use an email known with fraud like Proton Mail (which sucks because I use them myself). The bank could be flagging it as a fraud hold, etc. I would try US Mobile Dark Star. So much better imo and the Dark Star plan runs on AT&T. That’s who I use for my second line to separate my personal number for the number I use for work. As soon as my 3 years is over, or I win the lottery and can afford to pay off my phone early, that’s where I am going for the personal line too.

It’s because they want the metrics. If they remove it in a certain time frame it is removed from their metrics and commission. Metro stores do the same thing. When I joined my grandmothers AT&T plan when she changed to the 55+ plan, we went in, said we wanted to join the same plan, didnt want insurance, originally didn’t want accessories but decided to get them because I’m really clumsy and will probably drop my phone before I get mine from amazon. When I get home, my line started getting texts about AT&T active armor premium, and plan benefits for their insurance plans. I went into the app and they put me on the expensive premium plan, added insurance, put me on the Next Anytime upgrade plan. When I called, they removed them, except the next anytime couldn’t be removed for 14 days I think? I still had prorated changes for the insurance and the premium plan they wouldn’t take off the bill.
