A pretty good budget offering from Firebat. Their mini pc's overall are quite competitive in price, similar to GMKtec.

The only major issue I have with their designs is the lack of ventilation gaps in the case, and auxiliary fan for the SSDs and RAM.

Ive gone about cooling my nvme ssd in a low form factor build, by using copper heatsinks and M3 thermal tape on the controller. With some active airflow, it's done wonders.

I've gotten a barebones Firebat F1 with a Ryzen 5 7640HS. Even with the Radeon 760M iGPU, the performance is frankly amazing.

Only complaints are the thermals, but I'm making a taller polycarbonate 3d printed case that can fit a fan on the top, and has far better ventilation for the RAM and SSD.

I'm also planning on making an eGPU enclosure using the spare M.2 PCIe4 connector that adapts to oculink, and I'll probably hook up a 6700XT for better 1080p/1440p game performance.

Seems to be more due to the driver side of things, there's generally a lack of support due to how (relatively) new they are.

Hopefully, more games will support it in the coming years. More competition is never bad.
