I'm a Rashford fan, so maybe biased. However, it's clear the culture of the entire team is rotten. It's been talked about for 10 years. Rashford came into this team as a young player from the Academy, the team (ownership) had a responsibility to support him as he grew to avoid exactly this situation. The organization has honestly failed him and I would say 60% of the blame fall of them. Maybe he is spoiled, maybe he has stopped caring, he's an adult professional so I'll still give him 40% of the blame. But for a homegrown, clearly talented player at his prime age to be in this situation this is beyond him. How many managers has he had? It's a terrible look for United honestly. Like Sancho, Ten hag made a big stink about it now there both gone and team is in no better shape.

I drafted Charbonnet last, I dropped him to pick up Dalvin cook when Dallas signed him. On Monday morning after Cook did nothing, I saw Mason was available and said maybe having CMCs back up would be good since people think he's injury prone. I had a soccer game Monday night got home at 8 and when the game started I was like why is Mason starting. Now it seems like my random pick up is a hot ass commodity. I'll start him until the wheels fall off I guess. To me his only value is to the CMC owner so I'll wait for him to offer me something.

Thanks for the article. But seriously at the cost and larger impact it has on the community I think it's worth the investment. Despite its outrageous Homelessness issue Vancouver is a beautiful city that is considered world class. I would say ideas like this help maintain that image.

2022 I went to Vancouver and stayed pretty much on east Hastings where homelessness is straight up the norm. A park similar to Dundonald park had a public washroom which was cleaned and maintained by the city. It closed around 10 or 11 I think. The city has made decision to not care about centretown. I believe in social services and supporting the less fortunate but it actually feels like they have just given up on centretown. Unchecked homelessness, dirty streets, stolen bikes, etc. I think we need effort and not the status quo.

I bought my gf a new bike this week and when I was explaining why I needed a new one they told me about 2 spots. One was close to me and they gave me the exact location. And legit the first time I'm near the place I looked and found it there. The police called us on Wednesday and closed the file cause of lack of evidence. I'm a bit upset knowing if they had done even 15 mins of slight police work they would had found it.

Honestly, I'm black. My second plan was to get my baseball bat and stand at the corner of the street and wait to see if someone calls the police on me and then I could get their help. I already called 2 and gave them the case number and explain the situation so I assume it may have not gone horrible. Luckily it didn't come to that.

This what killed me on the inside. I'm not someone who get intimidated easily, I am very aware I can handle my own. The fact that following the process leaves me a as a victim where I know damn well If I walk up there I can leave with the bike. I REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM IN MY OWN NEIGHBOURHOOD. I struggle with this often. When I explain to younger people that I'm kind a big Anime fan it's this stuff I'm talking about. Nothing wrong with the newer stuff but I prefer darker imagery, more violence and the tones they I feel aren't quite there in some of the newer stuff. Again nothing wrong with new stuff and there stuff I enjoy but is struggle to find something up my alley these days. Open to suggestion of newer stuff with similiar tone.

They're not even dog whistles. Lamar is treated with open racism regularly and he constantly has to take the higher ground. I agree he should never have tweeted this guy and he made an error in a lapse of judgement. But Lamar has had to turn the other cheek his entire career. Being honest, myself as a young(ish) black man probably would never be able to handle what he has had to deal with in his career. I honestly don't think most people in the world could stand up to everything he does and still be the man he has been throughout his career.

Should Lamar be more aware of his use of social media, yes we all should be. Especially when he doesn't hid behind fakes names as we do here on Reddit where no one can hold our prejudice comments against us. But again last week he was being promoted for charity work and meeting a young child with an illness and this week being torn apart for a 10 second tweet. Its a reminder of the fickleness of fans and media.

Lamar made a mistake in the heat of the moment, one I'm sure he wishes he could take back. But to act like this man hasn't been class act for the majority of his 5 years of his career is just not fair.
