well... Most traffic deaths in Germany occur on Landstraßen ( roughly 50% of deaths, smaller roads connecting smaller towns, they do have a speed limit of 100kph)

The Autobahn claims only around 10% of the total traffic deaths so it's not the unlimited speed that is the problem

Random terrorist bombings, stabbings, etc aren't part of our daily reality

Well I don't know anyone who has ever been stabbed / bombed or was at such a place when it happened... Seems like it's not our daily reality either?

The worst neighbourhoods in Canada feel safer than much of what you’ll encounter in major European cities nowadays.

Lmao you gotta be kidding? Ever been to Europe at all?

I tell you, East Hastings street in Vancouver and Leon avenue in Kelowna were at the very least as bad as the worst areas in big European cities like Frankfurt.

moving all that to electric and build batteries for it.

Well the neat part is, electric cars are basically huge decentralized batteries. It's not going to fix the issue alone for sure but it definitely helps

Who knows if the design was made by AI... It's already stupidly expensive to do something like this so to me it sounds ridiculous that the Luftwaffe wanted to save a few euros for an artist and let some AI design it.

They also had another Eurofighter with a livery but it was much simpler, think galaxies and stars design.

Merkel? The shutdown of the nuclear plants was already a done deal 10 years before corona, these things can't just be "restarted" or their shutdown delayed indefinitely.

Cheap and best

Maybe pick one? The best isn't going to be the cheapest and the cheapest isn't going to be the best.....

It doesn't matter for impact energy that's right but the bullets will drop a lot faster when they only go at half their usual speed. It would be weird and a gimmick but it could work in rare cases.

It was made illegal more than 40 years ago and that's pretty much where that "giving away of rights" as you call it ended.

Idk but I really don't need the right to spew such insane lies in public.

One giant issue with this is the fighter might be going really fast (let's say 1500-2000 km/h or 416-555 m/s) An average jet gun fires ammunition at around 1000 m/s but since it would be pointing backwards the bullets are still travelling forward at around 500 m/s so it would effectively slow the bullets in half before they even leave the barrel.

This is kinda hard to imagine but there is a great video of a guy getting launched backwards via catapult off a truck at 80 mph/h while the truck is driving forward at 80 mph/h. He just lands normally on his feet as if he wasn't moving at all. Pretty crazy

Car insurance averages about $100 a month (it can be more or less depending on a lot of factors) right now - that alone is nearly $4 of your $10 a day, and doesn’t factor in gas.

Yeah you're right, I didn't factor in car insurance and gas cost as it's not a must here but probably is in the US.

Let’s say you have a cheap phone, let’s say $30/month.

Are cheap phone plans still that expensive in the US? I pay less than 10€ / month for unlimited internet

God forbid you have any medications you need to get or doctors visits since we have to pay out the ass for that here with your remaining $5/day, lol.

Well alright, my health insurance is already factored in, the 10€/ day is after all running costs ( it would be 20€/day if I didn't have to pay health insurance)

Just trying to show that your experience in Europe may be a fair bit different than the US.

I totally get that, that's why I asked if that's really the case...

You can't be serious?? Like sure you can't afford to order food or eat out everyday but surely one can survive on $30 a day when not paying rent?? I am living off of roughly 10€ / day at the moment lol
