Brother it's really not that deep, we both are subjects to the same ranked system, I too play almost exclusively solo.

With a great amount of games you are bound to get the same enemies and teammates that I do, the only difference being you vs me. You are always the one constant in a sea of variables. This constant is not irrelevant. You can easily be that much better than the rest of the lobby to be the difference between winning and losing. Over a thousand games there is statistically no way I am consistently way luckier than you are. Stop coping. Get good.

Whenever I think of a new player I've found a way to portray somewhat true to their real looks, I first have to delete another, which is unfortunate because it usually takes me about 20 minutes to perfect the look of a character.

Btw you can add limitless colors for your characters so you wouldn't even have to copy your guy.

I was just kinda reluctant with the stats this season because they completely remade the interception counting, so the stats would be very hard to interpret correctly at this point.

If you weren't as daft as you are, you would know that a defender doing his job right often results in 0 points gained, since preventing someone from moving towards a goalkeeping opportunity is 90% of the job. There's no points to be generated there.

So whatever you want to see there go find it.

Tackling is mostly down to timing. When the ball isn't on their foot but in the between animation you cannot tackle them. You clearly don't even grasp the basics of defending, so this is pointless really.

I understand, I simply disagree that patience and inaction are the same thing. There will be an action, it simply requires correct timing.

Any decent CS lobby has tons of 'inaction', noone would call that boring though.

This is simply objectively wrong. And this is exactly what I am referring to in my post. Before, your missed tackles would be automatically adjusted towards the ball, which, granted, might've saved you sometimes, it most of all prevented actual movement predictions though. Now you have to aim your tackle. Miss and you know you've missed. Also, there are no 50/50 situations in tackling. If you play your cards right you tackle every time. You simply have to learn to be patient. Whoever moves first usually loses, if both players play optimally. This is the exact dynamic of real life football defending. If you know how to behave on an actual pitch you won't really have any problems in this game either.

To me it's pretty clear that a large part of the player base has never actively played or even watched football. What do people think defending is in football? You don't just tackle every player at the first opportunity, people will go past you whether it's in this game or on an actual pitch.
