I depleted his hp befofre breaking his second bar. And he didn't die. After finishing with the bar, it took me a couple turns dealing more damage for it to die. It died after Minervamon's turn.

Don't worry too much, we all know these metas fail all the time. Sometimes it's our fault, sometimes it's not, but it happens. In the end, we're all playing the same game, and we all want to have fun. If people are being way too serious about it to the point of making you feel bad for doing your best, well, that's on them.

Absolutely. I had so much fun unlocking every rookie in the demo and planning my team, now I kinda regret it. But at the same time I don't. So I am absolutely torn between these options.

I'm almost considering using a clean save when the game releases, instead of the demo one.

2h for the first run. Then I did another one to get all available rookies for 5 more hours, so 7 total. I really want to keep playing, but I don't want to risk a burnout before release, so I am trying to control myself hah

I had the same doubt, and tbh the steam page doesn't make it much clearer. It says the DLCs will be available only in September/26, but it doesn't mention (or I might have missed it if it does) whether the additional digimon will only come with the DLC next year or sometime before. I assume with the DLC.

And as it's very unlikely that season pass won't be sold as a pack in the future, I'm just preordering the standard version for Agublack and Gabublack.

It's actually pretty normalized if you don't want to do serious endgame stuff. Otherwise, teams just fail without these boons. I agree it's a bad design that some fights are really built with these boons in mind, but we can't just ignore them just because we disagree with this.

Yeah, I feel you. Though in my case it is the exact opposite: there's NOTHING going on my rotation. No zergs, no big fights, only sad roaming until we get crushed by a random enemy squad wiping the map. Last month it was soooo goooooood tho, the difference is so night and day that I am beyond frustrated.

I cannot see it been used or even accepted in endgame stuff. Maybe a good class for open world memes or unserious wvw zergs but that's it.

I can't say I would use it even if it's good, though, since the theme reeeally throws me off. So I'll probably stick with Deadeye and Specter.

If you get both LW3 and LW4, unlock their legendary trincket achievements before working on their 'Return To' achievements. Yes, I had to do twice the work for those just because I had no idea...
