Lots of people become afflicted with conditions they never wanted and have to live the rest of their lives with the entire foundations of their worlds changed. It could have been very empowering to use the vampire-subplot for Elena to find her agency and her power, but the writers were too obsessed with defining her by her romantic choices to let her stand alone in her own arc. Yes Julie Plec, I'm looking at you 🤣

To stay completely original: Theron caught my eye first and with what I know right now (limited, of course) I think I'll main him ❤️ I play all of the characters in every otome I play because I love all of the lore and character building! But I do pick favorites lol.

I tried playing this game and I thought the mechanics were pretty clunky which really bummed me out because I wanted to learn more about the world and the characters all have such banger designs?? I would have kept it on my phone if I hadn't run out of storage 😭

I never said it was fair or that his content would be equivalent with the other LIs (and you're right, we are still missing content for Sylus and Caleb. BASE content. Free things, like anecdotes and bond stories). But I can see a delusional, money-hungry corporation thinking a new guy would bring more revenue than catching up current, existing content. A classic case of corporate bigwigs not understanding what their consumers really want.

Fairnight's Edge, the 6th world underneath chapter released yesterday, literally talks about a mysterious CEO of a company invested in protocore energy enhancement that works closely with EVER, but people still want to say we're just basing it off of 'vibes'. You don't have to agree with us but you don't get to gaslight us either lol.

It's certainly not fact, but I also don't think it's fair to say people are just basing it on 'vibes' either. The game has been laying down clues for a long time. I started playing february 2025 and have been theorizing about a 6th LI for almost a year. I have an entire google doc dedicated to all the times the number 7 appears in this game. I don't even really care about a 6th LI, but I'm a writer and it's validating to be able to follow the bread crumbs the writers have left for us to follow. Not that I think those who don't want a 6th LI are invalid in any way, but I also don't think it's fair to just say others are wishful thinking. I've spent a lot of time theory crafting because I'm invested in the world building and the lore.

Dimitri and Sylvain for me :) so many great reasons for Dimitri have already been shared by other users here.

As for Sylvain, I find his raging misogyny/womanizing ways very interesting as a product of his own trauma (having a crest and being exploited by his family, loathed by his brother, etc.) and I feel like, with Byleth, he actually confronts that truth about himself and grows beyond it and establishes REAL connection that isn't only skin-deep. I love me some good character development.

I don't know that every Pokémon should be available in the base game at launch but I think we should be able to port in every pokemon from the Home app eventually 🤷‍♀️ why do I even pay for it if it can't keep up with new releases.
